Everton

Everton goalscorer Oumar Niasse: "It's always good to win a point because the last two months have been difficult. Now we have to work towards next week, but to take a point from today is very good. Crystal Palace have some very good players so we knew it was going to be difficult and we'd have to fight at all times.

"I didn’t have a proper pre-season so I am still getting my fitness back, and I am getting better and better. I'm very happy to have scored.

"The team's confidence is growing and today we completed the comeback, which shows we don't give up. We are getting better and better and hopefully that can continue for the rest of the season."

Southampton

Southampton manager Mauricio Pellegrino, a former Liverpool player: "We started well with energy, with shape and didn't give them too much space to create but we made a couple of mistakes and it was really difficult for us to come back. You cannot give the ball away too easily. In general, Liverpool were one pace more than us."

Crystal Palace

A subdued Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson: "We feel hard done by, I suppose. I don't think we could have played a lot better.

"The goals we conceded were unfortunate - the first was a dive, and the second was our doing as we committed harakiri and it let them back into the game. But we really did boss the game, playing some excellent football.

"We have dropped two more points. Mistakes happen, don't they? Being wise after the event doesn't serve any purpose at all. We have got no-one to blame but ourselves.

"I thought Loftus-Cheek was very good today, as was the whole midfield. Our midfield controlled the game totally, and we used the ball very well. But Everton defended well, as you'd expect them to.

"I can't ask for more than I got from the players today, but I must admit to being bitterly disappointed. It is not enough just to give players credit for a performance - as a manager I was to see some points on the board."

Crystal Palace

Ruben Loftus-Cheek in the tunnel at Selhurst Park: "Today I had to forget what happened in the international break and focus on the game. I think we did really well but we just didn't get the win.

"Personally, I feel the more I'm playing the better I'm getting, and I'm working hard to get fitter. I feel really good and I'm trying to give my best every game.

"I've had a lot of back problems, my lower back, since I was 16, and it’s just about managing that. As I haven't been playing for so long it's giving me problems - I've played Tottenham at Wembley, then for England against Germany five days later, then this game five days later, and I have never done that in my life!

"But I want to be on the pitch all the time, playing as much as I can. I just need to build up my robustness.

"Today, 100% we should have won it. We took it to Everton and played some really good football, and we're gutted not to have the three points we feel we deserve. But you don't always get what you deserve in football."

Huddersfield Town

Huddersfield manager David Wagner: "It would be 0-0 if we had them (video assistant referees). But we don't have them. We have referees and usually they have to do their job and today he made big mistakes. For the first goal there was a clear foul, a harsh tackle and we concede a corner. The second was clear offside. Goals change games and these after wrong decisions changed the game.

"We played a very good first half and were the better team. But we have to be clinical and score. Second half we were more and more not creative enough and conceded two counters. It sounds crazy but we played a good first half and were 2-0 down. Usually, I don't like to blame referees but they made two very wrong and big decisions.

"For us it is important we feel the disappointment. We didn't take a good opportunity and the result did not show us how the game was. It was tight and we were the better team in the first half.

"We have to blame ourselves (for not scoring). At the end, it is all about the end product. As I said, goals change games and we didn't score."

Leicester City

Leicester boss Claude Puel: "We know this team. They are the best team in Europe. We started very well with good moves and good organisation. It was a good 30 or so minutes.

"[Manchester City] deserved a red card. It is not possible to come back after the decision, it is important to look forward and keep good focus and concentration. We know we can do better.

"The last 15 minutes of the first half was a bit more difficult for us. We had space between our lines. The second goal at the start of the second half was hard to accept."

Can anyone beat Manchester City? "We know this team and all these good players, they can play with intensity and quality it is difficult to play against this kind of team. With a lot of fixtures in December it will not be easy but it will be an opportunity for the opponent with tiredness."

Manchester City

More from Pep Guardiola, this time on John Stones' injury: "John Stones we are going to miss him for a long time, we are going to suffer in that position for the future. Like Mendy before and now what happened with John will maybe be six weeks off.

"It is tough because the calendar is so demanding. We don't have many central defenders and they will suffer but we will find a solution."

On Vincent Kompany: "I am really impressed because more than two months injured andhave one game at international against Gibraltar and to play at that level shows how strong he is in his mind. At the last part of last season he came in and helped us a lot. Vince is a little mystery and hopefully he can be fit for the coming games."

Burnley

Burnley boss Sean Dyche: "Today just told us we can find different ways to win. The first goal came from our keeper working our way down the field to score. The second one was from a great press. We played pockets of fantastic football to see the game through. There's a lot of good signs so far.

"My way of managing is giving the best way to win and it's a very long season but I'm pleased with the start.

"I believe in what we do. I believe in the unity of the players and we'll take on all challenges as it comes to us.

"It's a tough division. Every game is a big challenge for us so we'll focus on each game as it comes."

Swansea City

Swansea boss Paul Clement: "We had a bright start but when we conceded the first goal it affected our confidence.Our confidence is clearly on a downward spiral. Burnley are very good at making you make errors and capitalizing on them. We have to find a way to break that because as a team, we are capable of more.

"As a side, we are playing under our potential and I have to find a way to break this cycle. We have to find a way to grind out a win and get the best out of our players.

"We're not getting the results at the moment but they're not far away and I see no reason why those results won't come against Bournemouth next week."

On Tammy Abraham's injury: "He's hurt his back. I don't know how bad it is but we'll find out in a couple of days."

Chelsea

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte to BBC Sport: "It was a good game. Last season we struggled twice against West Brom but we played really well.

"The game became easy but it wasn't. From the start of the season there is a lot of pressure on us, never mind Tony Pulis. Every team has pressure. They are a good team and they can find the right solution.

"Tony Pulis is a really good manager with great experience. He was the manager of many teams and his team is very difficult to face, always.

"We performed very well. Morata and Hazard have a great link, they are now 100% fit, it is easy to forget that we started the season without Hazard."

Antonio Conte has come through difficulties in the Champions League, and he is doing all he can to rally his crowd and rally his troops.

This is a serious manager, a man to be taken seriously, and I think he's the man for Chelsea.

West Bromwich Albion

West Brom Tony Pulis to BBC Sport: "Our defending for all of the goals was really poor. We had opportunities but the defending today was very poor. Against the top teams you have to defend better than that.

"It leaves me in the position I was in before the game. The board of directors will decide what they have to do. I have been in this position before. It's up to them. I feel for the players they have worked hard but they have made basic mistakes.

"I spoke to the owners yesterday, they ear really decent people. It's not about them, it's about what's best for the football club. That is more important than anybody. It's a decision they have to make. I'll keep ploughing along if they want me to do.

"In any job, if it doesn't go well, you will be under pressure. We have left a lot of points on the pitch this season.

"The supporters were fantastic today, they kept with the team. I got some stick but you expect that."

West Brom simply did not engage with Chelsea, they just retreat into a shape. That means they cannot get forward, and it's been the same all season. It is that tactical approach which I think will cost Tony Pulis his job.

A satisfied Everton boss David Unsworth: "That was a well-fought point. We had to come back twice and we showed great resilience and desire. I am delighted with a point.

"We conceded two poor goals - our own downfall. To concede so early is always a blow but we came back strongly and this team has shown they have fight and desire.

"It was hard for me to see my team's penalty decision, but the referee gave it. If Niasse exaggerates it then that's the case, but we're just thankful that we got it and Bainsey took it well. I worked with Niasse in the under-23s and you know he gives you everything he's got. He is a pest, and nice pest for us! I am delighted for him because he is a great guy as well.

"Three thousand of our fans turned out tonight and we gave them something to shout about. As for me, I don't know. Tomorrow is a good day off then we'll see what happens on Monday."

Bournemouth

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe: "We still have out spirit and determination. The second half was the highlight for me. I've seen it before that 2-0 leads can turn, especially with 10 men. But we slowed it down and frustrated them.

"I am really pleased for him (hat-trick scorer Callum Wilson). Football is difficult game to read and predict futures. When he scored a hat-trick against West Ham (in their first season in the Premier League) he looked like he had the world at his feet. But all the way through his injury process he has been positive.

"We realised the importance of backing up the win we got before the break. We need as many points as we can. The fixture list changes in December and it will be a difficult run for us."

Manchester City

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola, speaking to MOTD: "The international break is always complicated, especially if you play away.

"It is complicated to defend against Leicester but we did really well. We did not concede one chance in 90 minutes. We missed the last pass, the last action but we arrive with lots of players attacking the back four. We continue with our good rhythm in terms of points and the way we play."
