It's always a good game between these two and usually goes to the latter stages before it's decided. We've seen it time and again where Arsenal haven't been able to get through tests like this - if they can today then maybe they've turned a corner.

Mike, Edinburgh: What is it going to take for Unsworth to resign, the job is too big for him.

Aidan Mifsud: Really, right now can Everton do any worse than admitting they messed up and ask Koeman to return? Who else wants the job?

Not long to go until kick-off at Turf Moor.

It's a really good finish, Everton had a wonderful opportunity at one end but it's a really good break and lovely interplay on the left. You wondered if Tadic would be strong enough to get there but he just manages to slide the ball past Pickford.

That was a far harder chance for Austin, it came at him quickly and it's a good strike. His technique is much better this time, he knows he doesn't have to smash it but it's just the wrong side of the post. Southampton really should be ahead.

    Martin Keown
Former Arsenal defender on MOTD2 Extra

The victory over Spurs will be a waste of time if Arsenal don't get a result today. If they fail to get a result, I don't see them making the top four.

We'll see today if they're the real deal. It's easy for them to be ready for Tottenham but it's one of those, it's not the San Siro, it's days like today that things are won.
