A very clean strike from Doucoure, nice flight of the ball. It's interesting how the Spurs defence just backed off. He got to about twenty yards out and thought 'why not?'

    Xherdan Shaqiri

    Celebrate like you mean it!

Xherdan Shaqiri stabs Joe Allen's through ball into the bottom corner and races off towards the home fans, treating them to an incredible Hulk-style muscle-busting pose. That clearly felt pretty good.

Mark Hughes will breathe an enormous sigh of relief.

    Watford 1-1 Tottenham Hotspur

Richarlison is always an outlet for Watford and Sanchez is facing a lot of these one on one situations, sooner or later they could get some joy.

    Everton 0-0 Huddersfield

Huddersfield do no look like a team who have lost their past three matches.

They're giving as good as they get at Goodison. Aaron Mooy's low cross is cleared by the home defence after three bookings in as many minutes - two for Everton and one for the Terriers.

The away fans are singing: 'Is this a library?'

    Floodgates: open!

One minute after taking the lead Liverpool are two to the good.

Positive signs from the home side though.

Watford will feel seriously aggrieved they didn't get a penalty for Ben Davies' challenge on Richarlison just before Spurs' equaliser.

    Leicester 1-0 Burnley

Leicester defender Harry Maguire goes in pretty hard on Robbie Brady and they both lay on the grass in a lot of pain.

It looks like Burnley winger Brady is going to have to be taken off on a stretcher with gas and air.

Referee Paul Tierney is waiting for the right moment post-treatment to show Maguire a yellow card.

Liverpool's first thought on winning the ball back seems to be "best give the other side enough time to get their defensive shape back before trying a forward pass".

  18. How to make friends...published at 15:27 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2017

    Everton 0-0 Huddersfield

    Steve Crossman
BBC Radio 5 live at Goodison Park

Forget Sam Allardyce for a second, Sammy Lee is already making friends in his first game on the Everton bench.

He’s just had a peacekeeping cuddle with David Wagner but he’s been in his ear plenty and is clearly bang up for this, bobbing up and down like a maniac.

All very routine at Goodison Park. Lots of energy but little in the way of quality.

New Everton manager Sam Allardyce is posted in his technical area in a long dark overcoat, earpiece and chewing furiously. Just being Big Sam really.

The energetic stuff is being provided by his assistant Sammy Lee. A real little bundle of energy. Some of the players have not been as lively.

The highlight so far has been three utterly horrendous set pieces from Gylfi Sigurdsson. Allardyce will not like that.

Fabulous piece of counter attacking play, the ball was almost nowhere in the middle of the pitch. Son arriving from that left hand side does brilliantly.
