Neither side is going to be happy with referee Martin Atkinson.

Watford will argue they should have had a penalty just before Tottenham equalised, and Spurs will claim Davinson Sanchez did not deserve a red card.

We are seeing some heavy challenges from Watford today, with Harry Kane, yet again, flattened.

This foul happens in almost exactly the same spot as Kabasele's foul on Harry Kane - right in front of the benches near the halfway line.

In the second incident, Richarlison looks to skip past Davinson Sanchez, who catches the Brazilian with his elbow. Martin Atkinson is in the headlines again, and Spurs are down to 10 men.

Harry Kane is clattered by the Watford goalscorer Christian Kabasele. No complaints from the home player as he is cautioned, the foul was a needless one just in front of the benches right by the touchline on the halfline.

Kane was interested, but gets too much on the free-kick with it going harmlessly over. And that is the end of a hugely entertaining first half.

Son tries to slide a pass through to Christian Eriksen, but a vital touch from Christian Kabasele denies the Dane a chance through on goal.

Another chance for Spurs now, as Sebastian Prodl fouls Dele Alli 35 yards out and quite central. Harry Kane looks interested in the free-kick.

The ball falls to Ben Davies after the hosts fail to clear Kieran Trippier's free-kick.

The Welshman takes his time, keeps the ball down on the half volley but can only drag his 20-yard effort just past the post.

Twice in a minute he is free, the first time he overhits a pass forward and the second time his cross is grabbed by ex-Spurs goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes.

Good news for those with Christian Eriksen in their fantasy teams.
