Desperate Dan the Potter's fan: We're gonna win 6-5.

Stephen, NI: I think Mark Hughes has just reached his 'sell by' date.

Paul Duffield: It’s a relief to see us (Spurs) winning again but I do fear for Mark Hughes, his bigger signings over the last year or so look like they could cost him his job.

  5. CLOSE!published at 83 mins

    Tottenham 5-1 Stoke

Superb save by Jack Butland to deny Spurs a sixth. More trickery from the brilliant Son Heung-min sets up Christian Eriksen but Butland denies his opponent from close range.

Hugo Lloris has got to do better - when you come for the ball you've got to get there.

Instead it was a simple Ryan Shawcross header into an empty net, with Stoke at least now on the scoresheet.

Stoke have been really poor in this second half and Spurs have simply opened them up.

Eriksen made a great run and received the ball before placing the it into the corner. A good finish, nothing Jack Butland to do, and without being harsh Stoke have simply fallen apart.

    Christian Eriksen

It's official. This is embarrassing for Stoke!

They're ripped apart at the back again as Son Heung-min's pass finds Christian Eriksen in acres of space and he comfortably beats Jack Butland.

If you want to see perfect finishing technique then you must watch this goal from Harry Kane.

The ball fell right in his path and two strides before slotting it right into the corner. A great, great finish.

    Tottenham 3-0 Stoke

This could get ugly for the Potters.

Spurs have had 67% possession and they're not done. They haven't scored many at Wembley in the Premier League but they are in the mood for more goals.

  15. GREAT SAVE!published at 60 mins

    Tottenham 3-0 Stoke

Hugo Lloris has hardly been tested yet the Spurs keeper is at his razor-sharp best to deny Xherdan Shaqiri after getting behind the home defence for the first time.

It's a terrific save - and it keeps Spurs on course for a seventh Premier League clean sheet.

To be totally honest Tottenham really do deserve to be three goals up, considering how many chances they've had.

And Stoke are right out of this game - I can't see a way back into it for them.

Jack Butland hasn't had a good game. Moments before Tottenham's third goal the Stoke keeper was almost embarrassed by Kane after losing control of the ball inside his own penalty area.

    That's exactly what Tottenham needed.

For the second, it was a really good ball from Winks onto Alli, and then his ball through was even better.

Son looked like he'd made the task more difficult for himself when his touch took him away from goal, but his finish at the near post was excellent.

    Too easy.

Harry Kane out-jumps the Stoke defence to meet Ben Davies' excellent hanging cross and power home.

    Son Heung-min

Son Heung-min has run the show for Tottenham and he now has a goal his man-of-the-match performance deserves.

It's a delicious move - Deli Alli's pass unlocking the Potters defence and Son's low finish inside the penalty area is clinical.
