Watford head coach Marco Silva on his side's recent poor form: "For me it is [about] the season, not one match. If you want to talk about how many points you have in the table, what position you are in, we are within our goal.

"I know what has happened and if you pay attention, it is easy to understand what has happened as well. You cannot win all the matches but we try. We compete in all of them to win."

  12. 'Wasteful finishing'published at 14:41 Greenwich Mean Time 16 December 2017

Watford v Huddersfield Town (15:00 GMT)

    Mark Scott
Match of the Day commentator at Vicarage Road

Neither side has been in great form of late, although Watford really should have had another three points on the board at Palace in midweek.

Marco Silva may have focused on their wasteful finishing at Selhurst Park, but although the Hornets are in a healthy league position they're towards the wrong end of the table defensively.

Huddersfield will be hoping that can give them a much-needed helping hand on their travels, with the Terriers failing to score on the road since the opening weekend and picking up just one point from their last seven away games.

Things have got a bit difficult for Watford recently, with only one point from their past four games, although they still hold a place inside the top 10 of the Premier League.

Can the Hornets find their winning form again? In their way stands a Huddersfield team who have been in an awful run away from home this season.
