With men being pushed up, Huddersfield get caught on the counter.

Nathan Redmond is the chief playmaker, ripping his way past a Huddersfield defender and into the box.

He cuts the ball back to Charlie Austin, free and 10 yards out, but the goalscorer fails to add to his tally by drilling a shot wide of goal.

Huddersfield are behind and now pushing more men forward but every cross into the box is headed away by a Southampton man.

He has not been at his best today and this sums his performance up.

Four minutes added on in the first half after that injury to Huddersfield's Jonas Lossl.

It took them a while but Southampton well on top now and you sense a second goal for them could kill the game off.

Huddersfield goalkeeper Jonas Lossl shows utter calmness as a ball rolls through to him, but he skips past a Southampton player and punts the ball to safety.

Looks like that kick to the nose has put Huddersfield goalkeeper Jonas Lossl's bearings a bit off track.

His kicks the ball straight at Dusan tadic and the ball falls to goalscorer Charlie Austin 40+ yards out.

The Saints striker takes a touch and lofts a shot goalwards, but Lossl sprints back to his line in the nick of time to push the ball away.

It's very naughty, Charlie Austin looks to have ample time to pull out of that one and he just leaves his foot in there knowing he's going to make contact. It's difficult to say, but I think he knows exactly what he's doing.

Mario Lemina breaks free from midfield and the former Juventus man plays a lovely weighed ball through to Nathan Redmond.

His scuffed shot falls into the path of Dusn Tadic eight yards out, but Huddersfield goalkeeper Jonas Lossl spreads himself big to keep the ball out.

Naughty, very naughty from Charlie Austin.

The Southampton striker runs through on goal but Huddersfield goalkeeper Jonas Lossl beats him to the ball and collects the ball.

Austin, though, comes in very late by sticking his foot out and kicking the goalkeeper on his face. A cowardly challenge.

Lossl is writhing in pain and has a bloodied nose.

Will referee Lee Probert take any action?
