Spain 2-0 Italy
Good play down the right by Matteo Darmian, who crosses - Ciro Immobile steps over it but Andrea Belotti, behind him and unmarked, wasn't expecting it, and Spain clear.
Spain 2-0 Italy
David Silva breaks into the box but his shot is blocked. And now Koke fizzes one over from 30 yards. If there's one thing Spain have in abundance, it's fantastic attacking midfielders.
Spain 2-0 Italy
Italy have a free-kick as they start to take back control of the game following that Spain flurry. They send some big lads forward. But then play it short. Ridiculous.
Spain 2-0 Italy
Spain's first attack in a while as David Silva shows a good bit of skill on the edge of the box, before playing it through to Koke - who didn't want the ball as he knew he was offside.
The hosts are upping their tempo now and Marco Asensio fires a shot just wide from 25 yards.
Spain 2-0 Italy
Antonio Candreva's cross is deflected for a corner. Italy have been much better in this second half. The corner eventually works its way to Andrea Belotti, who heads over from three yards out - he was under pressure to be fair.
Spain 2-0 Italy
Well, now. Italy should be back in this. Three players all combine to fail to score. David de Gea saves Lorenzo Insigne's effort, with Antonio Candreva's well off target, hitting off Andrea Belotti and into the hands of De Gea.

Les Davies: It's so sad watching Spain v Italy and realising how awful England were last night.
Spain 2-0 Italy
No change from either side at half-time, Italy sticking with the 4-4-2 that did not serve them particularly well in the first half.
Spain 2-0 Italy
The second half is under way. Italy need something special to come back into this.

Freddie Caine: A 442 setup and no number 10? This is not Italy...
Spain 2-0 Italy
Isco is the first player to score two goals from outside the box in the same game for Spain since at least 2004.
His opener was his first free-kick goal for Spain in only his second attempt.

Colin Reardon: The best of Real & Barca. Mesmeric at times!
Spain 2-0 Italy
I was at Italy's 2-0 win over Spain at Euro 2016. The Spanish weren't great then, but this is much more like it today.
As things stand, they are huge favourites to reach the World Cup, with Italy probably going to have to prepare for a play-off.
Spain 2-0 Italy
Some exhibition football from Spain now. Worthy of the Bernabeu. Isco - who plays his club football here for Real Madrid - sprays the ball around midfield. The fans are enjoying this.
Isco
Who needs a striker? Spain have looked back to their best today, they've been excellent. Andres Iniesta feeds Isco 25 yards from goal, he steps past two Italy defenders before rifling an effort into the bottom right-hand corner of the goal. Unstoppable. They generally have to be if you're beating Gianluigi Buffon.
Spain 1-0 Italy
Jordi Alba kicks the ball out of play. But I can't see who's injured. Oh wait, it's actually him. It looks like there's a problem with his face or eye. Antonio Candreva caught him in the face in an Italy attack a few seconds earlier.
Spain 1-0 Italy
Dani Carvajal almost doubles Spain's lead as he gets the ball on the right side of the box. But he slips as he shoots and it's deflected out for a corner.
Spain 1-0 Italy
Inches. David Silva is in on goal after a defence-splitting Andres Iniesta pass. He's flagged offside. But a replay shows only part of his body was on Italy's half. A let-off for Italy.
Spain 1-0 Italy
Spain are almost in but centre forward David Silva can't quite get onto a through ball. The old floppy haired Silva might have been able to control that...
