  7. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 43 mins

It's Bristol City's turn to feel aggrieved by an offside flag as Yana Daniels bursts clear and expertly lobs Hedvig Lindahl.

    It looked tight.

    Fran Kirby

There's no dispute about this one as Fran Kirby capitalises on a defensive error to double Chelsea's lead.

Danique Kerkdijk tries to bring down a high ball forward from the Blues on her chest but her touch is too heavy and Kirby collects the loose ball and fires into the bottom corner. Clinical.

  9. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 36 mins

Chelsea Ladies 1-0 Bristol City Women

Chelsea have the ball in the net through Fran Kirby but it's ruled out for offside.

It looked a tight one as Kirby drilled in a low cross towards Karen Carney, who was challenged by a defender, before slotting in the rebound from close range.

Did it touch Carney or the defender? It was tight but the assistant referee says it was Carney.

Bristol City live on their nerves from that set-piece as they struggle to get the ball clear.

Drew Spence goes down under challenge on the box but the referee says no penalty.

The ball is then only partially cleared as far as Magdalena Eriksson, whose shot draws a fine low save from Sophie Baggaley,

To Bristol City's credit, they're looking well-organised at the back as emphasised when Danique Kerkdijk clears Drew Spence's cross ahead of Fran Kirby to concede a corner.

Chelsea Ladies 1-0 Bristol City Women

Out of nothing, Bristol City should be level.

Lauren Hemp shows great strength to hold off the Chelsea defenders on the break and finds herself in on goal.

She only has Hedvig Lindahl to beat but fails to lift her shot over the advancing keeper, who gathers.

Much better from the visitors, who had been up against it.

  14. Postpublished at 22 mins

Chelsea Ladies 1-0 Bristol City Women

Bristol City get away with one there.

Sophie Baggaley gifts possession to Fran Kirby on the edge of the box but Millie Turner does just enough to close the England striker down and her shot is comfortably saved by the keeper.

What a ball that is from Maria Thorisdottir to pick out Drew Spence's run.

Unfortunately, Spence's touch isn't quite of the same quality and Bristol City snuff out another attack.

The game is being played in the Bristol City half at the moment.

The chances are racking up for Chelsea now as first Fran Kirby fires wide from the edge of the box, before Karen Carney has a volley from 10 yards gathered by Sophie Baggaley.

Chelsea had been threatening and take the lead.

A first real opening for Chelsea as Gemma Davison cuts in from the left and hits a shot from 20 yards which Bristol City keeper Sophie Baggaley tips behind.

Chelsea's Katie Chapman heads the resulting corner behind.

Chelsea Ladies 0-0 Bristol City Women

Chelsea have been pretty loose in possession so far, giving it away too cheaply, albeit under some pressure from Bristol City.

The visitors have settled into the game well.
