  2. Save of season contender?published at 16:03 British Summer Time 9 September 2017

    HT: Hearts 0-0 Aberdeen

    Brian McLauchlin
    BBC Sport Scotland at Murrayfield

A fascinating opening 45 minutes at Murrayfield. Aberdeen have been dominant in terms of possession but only three magnificent saves by Joe Lewis in the visitors goal have denied Hearts the lead. The tip over from Jamie Walker's effort will certainly be a contender as save of the season.

Hearts are looking more difficult to break down under the stewardship of Craig Levein. The second half will be very intriguing and a goal for either side is sure to change the dynamic of the game.

HT: Ross County 0-1 Partick Thistle

    Jonathan Sutherland
    BBC Sport Scotland in Dingwall

Blair Spittal is the name that matters most here. His goal has Partick Thistle on course for their first points of the season. But remember the name Davis Keillor-Dunn, a 19 year old making his first start for Ross County. The Staggies were rampant in the early stages and Keillor-Dunn - playing on the left of midfield - was at the centre of everything good. County have had so many chances, Jim McInytre will be frustrated to be behind.

    Motherwell 0-0 Kilmarnock

    John Barnes
    BBC Scotland at Fir Park

"Good end to end first half at Fir Park. Louis Moult and Ryan Brown with the best two chances for Motherwell, while Gordon Greer's header which came back off the bar and an Eamonn Brophy shot which was saved well by Trevor Carson were the closest we came to an opening goal."

  11. HALF-TIME St Johnstone 0-0 Hibernianpublished at 15:49 British Summer Time 9 September 2017

Some nice passages of play under the Perthshire sunshine, with Hibs growing in strength after a bright start from the hosts.

Several flurries in and around the penalty areas but no one has been able to break the deadlock.

  14. GREAT SAVE!published at 44 mins

    Hearts 0-0 Aberdeen

What a save that was. Jamie Walker has time to pick his spot after being found just inside the Dons penalty box.

The winger's curling drive is heading for the far top corner, but Joe Lewis stretches every inch of his body to send it over for a corner with his finger tips.

  15. St Johnstone 0-0 Hibernianpublished at 44 mins

Martin Boyle wriggles through a couple of challenges in the penalty box and does well to ping the ball across goal from the right. It's captain David Gray who has a swing at it but the volley flies high and wide.
