Well, now. Alaves are inches away from levelling. Alfonso Pedraza hits an effort from 16 yards, which takes a huge deflection off Raphael Varane and hits the crossbar.

Alaves captain Manu Garcia should be sent off. He looks around to see where Lucas Vazquez is and then sends an elbow straight into his face. He's lucky only to be booked. Vazquez is furious.
