FT: Middlesbrough 0-1 Cardiff City
Cardiff came away with all three points in a scrappy 1-0 affair at Middlesbrough, courtesy of Joe Ralls' late penalty - not that his manager saw it go in.
"I thought we were super today," Bluebirds boss Neil Warnock said.
"I didn't see Joe Ralls take the penalty - I never look.
"I just looked at their fans because if they jumped up cheering I know he will have missed it. I just can't stand looking at penalties."
The victory ensured Cardiff stay ahead of Sheffield United on goal difference in second place, two points behind leaders Wolves.

Phrases like 'cagey' and 'lacking in quality' were made for a live text commentator in this situation.
This game is really quite poor at the moment. Birmingham threaten a break, but Isaac Vassell's cross fails to pick anyone in a white shirt out.
Millwall 0-0 Birmingham City
Millwall string together a lovely move from left to right, putting right-back Conor McLaughlin in on the overlap.
The Northern Ireland international's first-time cross is blocked, but the Lions are perhaps beginning to turn on their game.
FT: Wolves 3-2 Preston
Wolves clung on to top spot in the Championship earlier after winning a nail-biting contest at Molineux 3-2 against Preston.
The visitors' mounted a late fightback having been 3-0 down after 63 minutes.
"Getting three points is important, but what we can't be totally pleased with is our performance," Wolves head coach Nuno Espirito Santo told BBC WM.
"Today was not the best. In the first half there was too much stopping in the game, Preston's game plan was all about controlling ours.
"We had to find solutions to cope with that as it's going to happen.
"But the second half was much better, however we still must better manage the closing stages of the game as mistakes there can cost you."
Millwall 0-0 Birmingham City
Going to be a tough game for Isaac Vassell, who is being forced to battle against Millwall's giant centre-back pairing Shaun Hutchinson and Jake Cooper.
He's giving it a good go, but Birmingham's midfield need to get closer to him if they're going to threaten.
Millwall 0-0 Birmingham City
Birmingham have taken the sting out of the game for the time being. No chances to speak of yet, but Steve Cotterill will be a happier man.
FT: Aston Villa 2-1 Fulham
Aston Villa manager Steve Bruce was delighted to see his side return to winning ways against Fulham.
John Terry's first goal for the club and Albert Adomah's strike were enough for the three points in a 2-1 victory despite Stefan Johansen's equaliser.
"It would have been unjust if we hadn't have won," Bruce, whose side are up to fifth in the Championship, told BBC WM.
"It's the attitude of how we set about them and in the first half we were close to blowing them away. That didn't happen, but the resilience came through in the second half.
"We rode our luck a bit but the supporters were determined to see us win and they got us over the line."
Millwall 0-0 Birmingham City
The chances are building for the hosts. Jake Cooper nods a George Saville free-kick into the danger area where Aiden O'Brien volleys over the bar.
Millwall 0-0 Birmingham City
With Isaac Vassell and Che Adams up front, Birmingham don't have much of an outlet to take the pressure off.
At the moment the ball just keeps coming back at them. Millwall are pressing well and keeping the ball in the Birmingham half.
Millwall 0-0 Birmingham City
Half-chance for Millwall. Steve Morison gets up between two Birmingham defenders to flick on a free-kick to Lee Gregory, who swivels in the area but can't hit the target.
Millwall 0-0 Birmingham City
Bit of rough and tumble between Millwall's Steve Morison and former Brentford man Maxime Colin on the touchline.
The referee gives both players a talking to before a couple of dangerous crosses are dealt with by the away side. Millwall on top early on.

Phillippa: Oh well, the unbeaten run couldn't go on. Very proud of the run Lee Johnson and the lads have been on! Now we move onto the cup.
Bristol City, beaten 3-0 by Leeds today, face Premier League side Crystal Palace in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup on Tuesday.
Millwall 0-0 Birmingham City
Ryan Tunnicliffe searches for Lee Gregory with a through ball. The Millwall midfielder can't quite find him, but it was a nice idea.
The hosts are getting their foot on the ball now.
Millwall 0-0 Birmingham City
Scrappy opening, with the ball seeing little of the turf at The Den. Was always going to be a physical battle - let us hope there's some quality too.
Millwall 0-0 Birmingham City
Birmingham, in their changed white tops, get us under way in south London.
Millwall are in their customary navy blue kit. Game on.
Millwall v Birmingham City (17.30 BST)
Unsurprisingly, Birmingham City are unchanged from the side which produced a confidence-boosting 1-0 win over Cardiff last time out.
Manager Steve Cotterill sticks with Che Adams and Isaac Vassell up front, with Sam Gallagher and Lukas Jutkiewicz on the bench as back-up.
Birmingham City: Kuszczak; Colin, Morrison, Roberts, Grounds; Davis, Kieftenbeld, Ndoye, Maghoma; Adams, Vassell.
Millwall v Birmingham City (17.30 BST)
Neil Harris welcomes back Steve Morison after the striker missed the 1-0 defeat at Brentford with a stomach issue.
Winger Shane Ferguson drops to the bench in the only change to the Lions' line-up.
Millwall: Archer; McLaughlin, Hutchinson, Cooper, Meredith; Wallace, Tunnicliffe, Saville; O'Brien, Gregory, Morison.
Millwall v Birmingham City (17.30 BST)
Steve Cotterill made the perfect start to life as Birmingham City manager just over a week ago, beating high-flying Cardiff City to move out of the relegation zone.
Not since his time at Notts County - the fourth of his eight clubs in 20 years in management - has Cotterill won both his opening two games.
If he does so he'll be the first Birmingham manager to claim two consecutive wins at the start of their tenure since Terry Cooper in 1991.
He'll have his work cut out, as The Den is not an easy place to write history.
Millwall v Birmingham City (17.30 BST)
Having gone four games unbeaten, Millwall have lost their past two Championship games to slip down the table to 17th place.
Striker Lee Gregory will be particularly motivated, having seen his late penalty saved in the 1-0 loss to Brentford last time out.
It's been a year since they lost three consecutive matches and manager Neil Harris will be keen to avoid a repeat today.
However, Millwall will have to buck a trend if they are to get back to winning ways: they have not won any of their past nine home games against Blues.
