There are two Santas in the Slough stand who were looking distinctly bored in the first half but they are full of Christmas cheer now. The hosts are giving a very good account of themselves.

A free kick for Rochdale midway inside the Slough half. it's the usual target for the set-piece - Calvin Andrew - but this time the big striker has four Slough players on him and the danger is cleared.

Bright start to the second half by Slough as Matt Lench tries to get a cross in from the right but a deflection takes the sting out of it.

Slough were eager to get going. They came out onto the pitch seven minutes before the start of the second half.

Slough counter quickly. Nathan Smart plays a smart ball in from the right and finds Lee Togwell, six yards out, got to be a goal? He heads just wide.

Important clearance by Guy Hollis to prevent Calvin Andrew from poking in another goal before the break. Corner to Rochdale.

Bradden Inman whips it in and Andrew meets it, directing a header off the outside of the bar.

You can hear pretty much every comment from every player. It's quite interesting to hear. Adds another dimension to the game.

A couple of minutes to go before half time. Slough will be pretty happy with this. They are still in the tie.

Slough, to their credit, are playing some nice stuff at times - they definitely don't look a few leagues below their opponents.

They are getting a surprising amount of space in the Rochdale half to build attacks.

Donervon Daniels' wild clearance from James Dobson's cross hands Slough another corner and it's a much better delivery this time. Dobson hits it deep to the far post where Mark Nisbet is unmarked. The defender hits a sweet volley but straight at the keeper.

They're getting closer.

Slough win a corner as James Dobson's shot is deflected behind. That gets the crowd going, but Dobson's driven corner is comfortably cleared. Not a great set piece but better football from Slough.

Bradden Inman tries his luck from outside the box, drilling a low effort through a crowd, but it is too close to Slough keeper Jack Turner.
