Another chance for Rochdale as the lively Calvin Andrews takes advantage of defensive hesitancy to pinch the ball but the keeper is quick off the mark to close down the gap as the striker attempts to round him.

Not too much in this possession wise. Rochdale, as you'd expect, have seen a bit more of the ball than Slough Town. Still just the one shot on target, a shot that resulted in the game's opener.

James Dobson is fouled right by what appears to be the Slough singing section and the boisterous crowd demand a free-kick. They get one, Matt Lench drives the ball in but Rochdale clear.

Slough go close as Warren Harris lofts the ball from one side of the box to the other where Matt Lench is charging in but he can't keep his header down and the ball lands on the roof of the net.

That was the first real chance of the game but it highlights the difference in quality as you rise up through the leagues.

There's that big Guy Hollis throw again but Calvin Andrew is back in defence to clear the danger as he tussles with Mark Nisbet for the ball into the box and just wins that battle.

Slough started strongly but have been pretty quiet since.

Rochdale have weathered that early Slough storm and are enjoying a bit of possession now, passing the ball around patiently as they look to work an opening.

Good start by Slough. They are getting stuck into Rochdale as James Dobson just can't quite control another ball into the visitors' box.
