    Leon Clarke (77 mins)

    Game, set and match... surely?

As a striker you're always told to head a cross back where it came from, and that was textbook from Sheffield United man Leon Clarke.

He bagged four goals against Hull before the international break and this header looks to have killed off a spirited Burton side.

Is Chris Coleman the right man for Sunderland?

Dave Edwards: Coleman is strikingly similar to Moyes - won nothing and overrated because people judge him by saying his teams are not as bad as you would expect them to be. Lousy hire. League One next year.

Sam Johnson: Frank de Boer is the right man for Sunderland. Right football philosophy that needs time to get right - he’s basically got two free seasons to do it. Then Black Cats will fly. Can’t understand what Coleman’s doing.

Some forthright views, chaps - which is exactly what we like here!

  19. YELLOW CARDpublished at 21:15 Greenwich Mean Time 17 November 2017

    Preston 0-0 Bolton

Bolton centre-back Mark Beevers goes into the book for tugging back Stephy Mavididi.

A substitution for Preston, as Callum Robinson comes off to be replaced by Daryl Horgan.

  20. GREAT SAVE!published at 21:14 Greenwich Mean Time 17 November 2017

    Preston 0-0 Bolton

Preston keeper Chris Maxwell has to be smart to parry away a fierce shot from Adam Armstrong.

The Bolton forward runs at his full-back on the left, cuts in and lets fly.

Fortunately from a Preston point of view the ball goes harmlessly away from danger.
