  1. CLOSE!published at 59 mins

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Man City

Ilkay Gundogan curls a shot narrowly wide from 20 yards.

Then he's taken off by Pep Guardiola and is replaced by Raheem Sterling.

Moments earlier, Aguero went down under a challenge by Palace players.

No action taken by the ref.

Then Jon Moss also took no action on Kyle Walker who 'pushed' over Wilfried Zaha as he was trotting down the left.

    It's all happening here.

Had a sneaky feeling coming into this that Palace would be the team to stop the winning streak - however I’ve had that sneaky feeling in most games so far in this winning run! Come on City!

Matt Lewis: Roy Hodgson has done a brilliant job at Palace. He hasn't just stopped the rot; he's turned them into a respectable side. Performances like this deserve Premier League football, and if they continue in this form, they'll get it next season.

Paul Christie: Regardless of the result today this City side aren't as unstoppable as people think. There are weaknesses there it's just up to other managers to find and exploit them.

Kev de Bruyne's clipped free-kick is headed out for a corner.

Leroy Sane's delivery picks out no-one.

Sterling has taken his trackies off.

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Man City

    It's another corner to City.

Somehow Nicolas Otamendi keeps it in at the near post but Leroy Sane's attempted simple layoff to Kevin de Bruyne is telegraphed (SMSed?) to a Palace player.

    City now have a free-kick about 30 yards out - centre-ish.

One of Manchester City's backroom staff ran onto the field just before the start of the second half to give Sergio Aguero a pair of black gloves.

One can only presume he was so concerned with Jesus' welfare during the break that he forgot to put them on...

Kevin De Bruyne hasn't had his passing boots completely fastened so far, he's looked a bit off the pace, and he's not striking the ball as cleanly as he usually does. Normally his link up with Leroy Sane is incredibly fruitful for Man City, but neither of them have been at it today.

    Nowt comes from the corner.

The deliveries from the City players have been wayward and wasteful.

Surely Raheem Sterling will come on soon?

    Bit harsh Jon Moss?

    Awful.

It's an early free-kick to City about 20 yards out - De Bruyne and Bernardo Silva over it.

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Man City

    Sam Parkin

Crystal Palace have been expansive with the way they've set up - having that extra man in midfield has allowed them to get the best out of Wilfried Zaha and Andros Townsend. And towards the end of the first half Man City were getting more, and more sloppy with their possession and a few players looked very frustrated.

  14. KICK-OFFpublished at 46 mins

    Sam Parkin
Former Luton Town forward on BBC Radio London

It's been a really good performance from Cyrstal Palace so far, they set their stall out from the first whistle, they've been organised and tight defensively, but they've threatened on the break too. It's been good, but the challenge is to do it for another 45 minutes.

They may be lacking another striker they could bring on to help Christian Benteke or replace him if he tires, but they do have a few other options on the bench who can make a difference like Jason Puncheon.

Man City's Leroy Sane endured a frustrating first half.

Another one for stats fans out there...

Man City only had one more shot than Crystal Palace in the first half. The smallest differential of any team outside the 'big six' against City this season.
