  1. KICK-OFFpublished at 16:03 Greenwich Mean Time 1 January 2018

    Leicester 0-0 Huddersfield

And we are back up and running.

  2. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:48 Greenwich Mean Time 1 January 2018

    Leicester 0-0 Huddersfield

Five shots in total, just one - an easy gather for Kasper Schmeichel - on target.

Not a classic. I'm not sure Huddersfield will mind though.

  3. INJURY TIMEpublished at 15:47 Greenwich Mean Time 1 January 2018

    Leicester 0-0 Huddersfield

Two minutes added on at the end of the first half.

  4. Postpublished at 43 mins

    Leicester 0-0 Huddersfield

After looking vulnerable at the back in the early exchanges, Huddersfield's high defensive line is proving an effective ploy against Leicester's fairly pedestrian front pairing of Shinji Okazaki and Islam Slimani.

These are their average positions so far. Pretty compact and high.

    Leicester 0-0 Huddersfield

A lot of midfield pinball, a lot less scoring, lights, bells and whistle than with the old flippers though.

A few of the home fans are trying to spur something from their side with some plastic clackers,

  6. Postpublished at 34 mins

    Leicester 0-0 Huddersfield

Best opening of the game so far.

Unfortunately the finish has been in keeping with much of the play.

The ball pops out of a penalty-area scrum to Wilfred Ndidi, but the Nigerian midfielder slashes his shot well wide from just about on the penalty spot.

  7. Postpublished at 32 mins

    Leicester 0-0 Huddersfield

Huddersfield counter with a bit of craft and guile as Joe Lolley finds the run of Steve Mounie and then Aaron Mooy works the ball out to the left wing.

But Rajiv van La Parra cannot find anyone with the cross.

  8. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 28 mins

    Leicester 0-0 Huddersfield

Wes Morgan has not recovered from that twinge picked up as he earned a yellow card a minute or so ago.

The Leicester skipper is hobbling to the sidelines, handing over the armband to Foxes goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel.

Aleksandar Dragovic - on loan from Bayer Leverkusen - is on for only his second Premier League appearance of the season.

  9. Postpublished at 25 mins

    Leicester 0-0 Huddersfield

The first corner of the afternoon with 25 minutes already on the clock. So far this one is a straight-to-video shocker rather than a blockbuster.

  10. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:25 Greenwich Mean Time 1 January 2018

    Leicester 0-0 Huddersfield

Insult to injury for Leicester captain Wes Morgan who is up and wincing after twisting his knee in a challenge on Steve Mounie on the halfway line.

The referee rules that the tackle warranted yellow though.

  11. Postpublished at 23 mins

    Leicester 0-0 Huddersfield

Danny Williams scuffs a shot wide as Tom Ince drills in a low cross from out on the right wing.

That was a decent sight of the Leicester goal. Did he have time to take a touch?

  12. Postpublished at 21 mins

    Leicester 0-0 Huddersfield

Huddersfield are asking the question, but Graham Scott is not giving them the answer they are after.

Danny Williams gets goalside of Harry Maguire as they chase a ball through on the Leicester goal.

Maguire goes shoulder to shoulder with Williams as he tries to recover and the Huddersfield forward goes down in the D.

It looked just about 50:50, but as the last man Maguire was risking red there.

  13. Postpublished at 18 mins

    Leicester 0-0 Huddersfield

Nice work from Marc Albrighton and Wilfred Ndidi frees Christian Fuchs down the left.

The Austrian full-back's attempt to cut back for Islam Slimani is a little under-hit though.

  14. Postpublished at 15 mins

    Leicester 0-0 Huddersfield

Jamie Vardy is watching on from a hospitality box that looks more like a creche with the number of toddlers running about.

He will be more tired tonight than if he had been through 90 minutes on the pitch.

  15. Postpublished at 12 mins

    Leicester 0-0 Huddersfield

Huddersfield get in a decent crossing position as Tom Ince gets his head up out on the right wing.

Steven Mounie is the only red-shirted player in the middle though. Heavily out-numbered he cannot get on the end of it.

  16. Postpublished at 9 mins

    Leicester 0-0 Huddersfield

This high defensive line looks like an accident waiting to happen for Huddersfield.

Riyad Mahrez, six goals and six assists so far in the league this season, almost threads a perfect pass for Islam Slimani.

Jonas Lossl is off his line at speed to get to the ball before the Algerian.

    Leicester 0-0 Huddersfield

Leicester are buzzing around with some good intent and energy. And the crowd respond with more decibels.

Huddersfield's are playing with a high line - I'm not sure they would be doing that if Jamie Vardy was in the Leicester team.

It pays off this time as Islam Slimani is flagged offside as he guides a header over the top from 12 yards.

  18. Postpublished at 4 mins

    Leicester 0-0 Huddersfield

The first bit of eye-catching work from Leicester with Shinji Okazaki's neat lay-off gathered by Wilfred Ndidi.

The Nigerian sweeps the ball to the left wing, Marc Albrighton slings in the cross, but it is too deep for Islam Slimani.

  19. Postpublished at 1 min

    Leicester 0-0 Huddersfield

The first effort on goal is a long-ranger from Huddersfield left-back Chris Lowe.

It a tiddling little trundler though and Kasper Schmeichel drops a knee to gather with ease and time to spare in the Leicester goal.

  20. KICK-OFFpublished at 15:01 Greenwich Mean Time 1 January 2018

    Leicester 0-0 Huddersfield

Leicester are without a win in their last four. Can they change that run around?

Huddersfield are in their red change kit.
