  1. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 64 mins

    Napoli 0-1 Juventus

A big moment as Napoli striker Dries Mertens bursts into the box and goes down under pressure from Giorgio Chiellini. Referee says no penalty. Having seen a replay, that's the right call. The Belgian actually looked for the contact.

  2. Postpublished at 62 mins

    Napoli 0-1 Juventus

Jose Callejon almost turns a cross home at the near post but Gianluigi Buffon gets there first. Callejon thought he was getting a corner, but the referee deemed he got the final touch.

  3. YELLOW CARDpublished at 59 mins

    Napoli 0-1 Juventus

Napoli left-back Mario Rui - standing in for the injured Faouzi Ghoulam - pulls back Douglas Costa. Yellow card.

  4. Postpublished at 55 mins

    Napoli 0-1 Juventus

STOP SHOOTING FIRST TIME, YOU DOPE. Napoli work the ball left to Lorenzo Insigne, who just pokes a shot at Gianluigi Buffon.

Now Allan has a shot blocked. And Jose Callejon goes really close from 22 yards, his effort just fizzes wide.

  5. Postpublished at 49 mins

    Napoli 0-1 Juventus

Dries Mertens flashes a header over the crossbar now. Bright start for Napoli but I wouldn't overly say it's better than the first half, as the end products haven't been great.

  6. Postpublished at 49 mins

    Napoli 0-1 Juventus

Great pass from Lorenzo Insigne down to Mario Rui, who is stopped by an excellent Douglas Costa sliding tackle. Costa even managed to win a goal-kick by kicking the ball off Rui.

  7. Postpublished at 47 mins

    Napoli 0-1 Juventus

Napoli attack, but Dries Mertens' cross is deflected into the hands of Gianluigi Buffon. Their final ball needs to be better in the second half.

  8. KICK-OFFpublished at 46 mins

    Here we go again.

The players are waiting in the tunnel now. Almost time for the second half. A huge 45 minutes for Napoli. Can they prove that they are the real deal?

John McEnerney: Not that Messi needs anybody to be his foil but Dybala, Higuain and Aguero should be enough for Argentina to go the distance next summer. One of the two Juve boys should start up front with Messi and Kun, the other to come on in the second half. Nice back-up to have!

  11. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:36 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2017

    Napoli 0-1 Juventus

This has been a disappointing 45 minutes for Napoli. Is this the day Juventus show us that they are the team to beat again?

  12. YELLOW CARDpublished at 45+1 mins

    Napoli 0-1 Juventus

Napoli striker Dries Mertens, who seconds earlier had a shot blocked, kicks the back of Miralem Pjanic's leg and gets a booking.

  13. Postpublished at 45 mins

    Napoli 0-1 Juventus

Juventus midfielder Sami Khedira limps off, gets some treatment and he looks ready to come back on.

  14. Postpublished at 43 mins

    Napoli 0-1 Juventus

A promising attack from Napoli comes to Lorenzo Insigne, who seems to keep shooting first time. He doesn't even look for options and again hits a fairly weak shot saved easily by Gianluigi Buffon.

  15. Postpublished at 40 mins

    Napoli 0-1 Juventus

P, externalaulo Dybala breaks at Napoli's defence, who seem to back off, and the Argentine ends up shooting over from about 25 yards. That's the 14th shot of the game.

Miralem Pjanic is almost in on goal but Kalidou Koulibaly speeds back to nip the ball away from him.

  16. Postpublished at 38 mins

    Napoli 0-1 Juventus

Lorenzo Insigne crosses, it's high in the sky and drops to Jose Callejon, who has an age to wait for it and ends up air-kicking it. They do win a corner but Allan volleys about a hundred miles over the bar.

  17. Postpublished at 37 mins

    Napoli 0-1 Juventus

Napoli forward Lorenzo Insigne has another shot saved by Gianluigi Buffon but it was weak and central so even I would have saved.

  18. Postpublished at 37 mins

    Napoli 0-1 Juventus

Napoli have got a lot of their final passes wrong too, Kalidou Koulibaly playing the ball to nobody down the left to break up another attack.

  19. Postpublished at 35 mins

    Napoli 0-1 Juventus

Napoli's crossing has been poor. Jose Callejon puts the ball in but nobody's in the centre. Well either their crossing is poor or Dries Mertens should be getting in better positions.

  20. Postpublished at 32 mins

    Napoli 0-1 Juventus

Napoli have just had three big chances.

Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini plays a shocking pass out from the back straight to Lorenzo Insigne, whose 20-yard curler is saved by Gianluigi Buffon.

Insigne flicks on the corner, Buffon saves again, and Raul Albiol screws the rebound well wide.
