    Well, that's it from a day when things went pretty much according to the formbook in the Irish Premiership.

    Wins for the leading five clubs mean it's 'as you were' at the top end of the table as Coleraine maintain their six-point advantage over Crusaders and Glenavon, who both have a game in hand.

    Cliftonville and Linfield are still well in the hunt as well, while the bottom four look like they are being cut adrift as the battle to avoid relegation and a play-off spot hots up.

    Ballymena are looming large in the rear view mirror of Glentoran as they aim to move into the top six.

    The last 10 minutes was tense and nervy but Ballymena United never do things in an easy way. Ballinamallard are fighting for their lives but some of our football was excellent. I'm annoyed that we didn't finish the game off as we squandered four or five very good chances but at the end of the day it's a win, three points, and we move on.

    It was a bit strange to be back at Warrenpoint as an opposition manager for the first time and see so many friendly faces, but we had to be professional and focus on the game. I'm delighted to get all three points. We allowed them far too much time on the ball in the first half, but our second-half performance was impressive and we got the job done.

    Linfield probably edged the first half but we kept ourselves in the game. I thought we improved in the second half and gave ourselves an opportunity to get something out of it.     It was a good win for us today. It was a test of character for our players and we showed it in abundance. I thought we dominated the game from start to finish. For me, Andrew Doyle's second yellow card was never a yellow card and we have been on the end of some very average refereeing performances in the past few weeks. The boys were fired up because they knew they weren't going to get any help from the officials - they won through their own hard work.

    I'm really disappointed. When we came in 0-0 at half-time and a man to the good we should have kicked on and won the game. I thought we played better when they had 11 men but we stopped doing the things we were doing well. This is a chance passed up.     A 93rd minute goal from Jay Donnelly put the gloss on a win for the Reds.

    It was a happy return to Milltown for former Warrenpoint boss Barry Gray as his Cliftonville side made it six consecutive victories.

    Joe Gormley had given the Reds an early lead which was cancelled out by Sean Mackle's equaliser. Rory Donnelly made it 2-1 on the half hour before his brother's injury-time strike sealed the win.

    Seventh-placed Ballymena move to within a point of Glentoran above them in the table thanks to this win over Ballinamallard.

    The Mallards didn't 'duck' the challenge but fell short again and are still four points adrift at the foot of the table.

    Second-placed Crusaders bag the three points at Seaview thanks to Jordan Forsythe's goal early in the second half.

    Stephen Baxter's men had to play the last 15 minutes or so with 10 men after Howard Beverland's dismissal, and the Crues were furious referee Stephen Gregg did not send off Glentoran's Kym Nelson in a later incident.

    The tempers are at bit frayed at the end, and it all gets a bit silly with some needless pushing a shoving after the final whistle.
