  5. KICK-OFFpublished at 16:06 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2017

    Sunderland 0-0 Reading

Sunderland, down to 10 men in Chris Coleman's first home game in charge, are back under way against Reading.

The Black Cats haven't won at home since December 2017.

They need to be careful not to go down to nine men too. Lee Cattermole and Bryan Oviedo are walking the proverbial tightrope in the second half.

In League One, Southend United are 1-0 up against Oldham Athletic at half-time thanks to Jason Demetriou's 17th-minute penalty.

The game at the Memorial Stadium remains goalless - could Bristol Rovers be heading for their first draw since February?

  9. RED CARD (Callum McManaman)published at 15:48 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2017

    Sunderland 0-0 Reading

Sunderland think they have the lead just before half-time, but it's disallowed and actually gets worse for Black Cats fans.

Callum McManaman bundles in a cross from the right but it's ruled out by referee Keith Stroud and, after consulting with one of his assistants, shows a yellow to the winger for handball.

That's his second bookable offence and the former West Brom man is sent off.

Disaster for Sunderland, who haven't won any of their past 20 home games in all competitions.

  11. goal

GOAL: Ipswich 2-2 Nottingham Forestpublished at 15:44 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2017

    Tyler Walker (43 mins)

Not a bad week for Tyler Walker, all things considered.

Having signed a new contract earlier this week, the 21-year-old lashes a brilliant strike beyond Bartosz Bialkowski and into the top corner.

I'm not sure his father, Des, scored many like that. Brilliant hit.

  12. Postpublished at 15:43 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2017

    Brentford 1-1 Fulham

What a brilliant - and exhausting - first 45 minutes of football we've seen in the Championship.

Fulham are pressing to try to restore their lead at Brentford, but they won't do it with shooting like this.

Oliver Norwood shoots from 10 yards out, looping the ball high into the stands behind the goal. He was under a lot of pressure from a Bees defender in fairness to him.

  13. goal

    David Brooks (41 mins)

  14. Postpublished at 15:41 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2017

    Millwall 1-0 Sheff Utd

Sheffield United keeper Jamal Blackman makes a tremendous save to keep out George Saville's fierce half-volley after James Meredith’s long throw caused problems in the Blades defence.

Millwall so close to doubling their lead against 3rd-placed United.

  15. goal

GOAL: Bolton 2-1 Barnsleypublished at 15:40 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2017

    Gary Madine (39 mins, pen)

Will Buckley had a penalty appeal turned down earlier, but this time the referee awards the spot-kick as he is felled inside the Barnsley box.

Gary Madine steps up and calmly puts his shot straight down the middle for his second goal of the afternoon.

  16. goal

    Dominic Iorfa (37 mins)

Forest v IpswichImage source, Dan Westwell

Dominic Iorfa has his first goal in an Ipswich shirt, and his side are back in front against Nottingham Forest.

On-loan Manchester City youngster Bersant Celina makes the goal, his ball to the back post headed in at the back post by the former Wolves full-back.

  17. Postpublished at 15:38 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2017

Derby 0-0 Burton, PNE 0-0 QPR, Sunderland 0-0 Reading

Under 10 minutes to half-time, and we've had goals in five of our eight Championship games so far.

The games at Derby, Preston and Sunderland remain goalless.

But the Lilywhites are a man up against QPR.

  18. Postpublished at 15:37 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2017

    Sergi Canos (33 mins)

Brentford forward Ollie Watkins carries the ball from deep inside his own half, before sending it out wide to Sergi Canos.

Canos cuts inside and drills a shot low into the Fulham goal, the ball slipping under keeper David Button, who really ought to have done better.

    Chris ColemanImage source, Rex Features

Chances for Reading at the Stadium of Light.

A goal-kick from Vito Mannone is flicked on by Yann Kermorgant to Modou Barrow, who shoots off John O'Shea to force the game's first corner.

From the set-piece, Liam Moore wins a header, but it's marginally off target.
