Still no win in Bolton for Cardiff boss Neil Warnock.

    Sunderland 1-1 Birmingham City

Birmingham stay bottom, but will probably be satisfied with the draw, having played much of the second half with 10 men.

    QPR 1-1 Bristol City

The visitors have chucked 6ft 6in defender Aden Flint up front for the closing stages...

    Derby 3-0 Millwall

Six wins from seven for Gary Rowett's Rams, who tore Millwall apart in a devastating five-minute first half spell which saw David Nugent score twice and Matej Vydra also net. It was enough.

Millwall's away day blues continue, they're without a win in 12 on the road, as we hit the half-way stage of the Championship season.

  9. FULL-TIMEpublished at 16:52 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2017

    Wolves 1-0 Ipswich

It hasn't been a classic, but Championship leaders Wolves win their 17th league game of the season.

Ivan Cavaleiro's first-half curler was the difference.

    Derby 3-0 Millwall

No such tension at Pride Park, where Derby have had the job done since half-time.

Millwall have been game in the second half, but unable to beat the man mountain Scott Carson.

    Bolton 2-0 Cardiff

SIX minutes of added time. Desperately nervy finish on the cards!

    Wolves 1-0 Ipswich

There will be four minutes of added time at Molineux.

    Sunderland 1-1 Birmingham City

As the final minute of the 90 approaches, 10-man Birmingham are still level at Sunderland.

But this scoreline would see the Blues stay at the bottom of the table as it stands.

    QPR 1-1 Bristol City

Substitute Cauley Woodrow has a chance for Bristol City, but he drills wide after getting in behind the QPR defence.

GOAL: Bolton 2-0 Cardiffpublished at 16:46 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2017

    Josh Vela (87 mins)

That is game over. What a fantastic result for Bolton here who had lost the past two games and were facing an in-form Bluebirds who had won five of their past six unbeaten games.

Gary Madine, scorer of the opener, turns provider for Josh Vela who tucks away to ensure a very merry Christmas at the Macron.

Neil Warnock, who's never beaten Bolton at Bolton, surely now sees his unlucky run continue.

  16. CLOSE!published at 16:45 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2017

    Wolves 1-0 Ipswich

Oh, half the ground thought that was in.

Wolves left-back Barry Douglas bends a free-kick towards goal but into the side netting.

A couple of minutes left plus stoppage time.

    QPR 1-1 Bristol City

As it stands then, with Cardiff still losing at Bolton, Bristol City are going to close the gap on the second-placed Bluebirds to just three points.

But the Robins are set to slip to fourth on goal-difference, given Derby's dominance at home to Millwall.

  18. goal

GOAL: Sheffield Wed 1-2 Middlesbroughpublished at 16:43 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2017

    Ryan Shotton (83 mins)

Is that the goal that brings the axe down on Carlos Carvalhal at Sheffield Wednesday? It's one that gives Garry Monk a huge lift anyway.

Middlesbrough take the lead at Hillsborough, Ryan Shotton heading in a corner. Could be pivotal. Wednesday facing a seventh game without a win...

  19. League Two latestpublished at 16:42 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2017

League campaigns are marathons not sprints we're always told, so Luton Town are currently doing their very best Haile Gebrselassie impersonation.

The League Two leaders have watched rivals Notts County stumble dramatically at home to Cambridge and Exeter at Yeovil today but like the Spencer Davis Group sang, the Hatters just keep on runnin'.

If they can hang onto their 2-0 lead against Grimsby, it'll be 11 games without defeat in all competitions. Nathan Jones manager of the month for a third time in succession?

    Wolves 1-0 Ipswich

They're into the final 10 minutes at Molineux.

Wolves look set to close this one out - Ipswich have offered very little going foward.

With Cardiff and Bristol City both set to drop points, this could be a terrific afternoon for Nuno's side.
