Odsonne Edouard makes the most of a rare starting place for Celtic to grab a hat-trick as Brendan Rodgers end three meetings with Motherwell within a week by thumping Stephen Robinson's side.
It not only extends Celtic's lead at the top of the table to seven points but means they have now gone 67 domestic games without defeat.
Hibs head coach Neil Lennon seemed to get the response he wanted after giving his side a half-time talking to on the pitch.
An Adam Barton own goal gave them a victory that lifts the Edinburgh side into third place in the table.
For Thistle, they are now four points adrift at the bottom after wins for Dundee and Kilmarnock.
