  6. Real set for Fifa Club World Cuppublished at 15:11 Greenwich Mean Time 9 December 2017

After this game, Real Madrid fly out to the United Arab Emirates for the Fifa Club World Cup.

The European champions face Al Jazira or Urawa Reds in the semi-final on Wednesday.

Gareth Bale is going, despite missing today's game with a calf injury.

"He'll travel with us to the Club World Cup. We'll see if he's available for the first game," said Zinedine Zidane - presumably expecting Real will have a second match.

  7. Team newspublished at 15:08 Greenwich Mean Time 9 December 2017

Real Madrid make seven changes from the weakened side that beat Borussia Dortmund in midweek.

Defender Jesus Vallejo, 20, makes only his fourth Real appearance - alongside Nacho at centre-back because Sergio Ramos is banned and Raphael Varane is injured. Marcelo, Marco Asensio, Karim Benzema, Toni Kroos, Luka Modric and Achraf Hakimi all come in.

Former Manchester City duo Jesus Navas and Nolito start for Sevilla. They are two of five changes from the 1-1 Europa League draw with Maribor.

Real Madrid: Navas, Hakimi, Vallejo, Nacho, Marcelo, Vazquez, Kroos, Modric, Asensio, Benzema, Ronaldo.

Sevilla: Rico, Mercado, Kjaer, Lenglet, Carole, Banega, Pizarro, Vazquez, Navas, Muriel, Nolito.

And now for the bad news.

If Real Madrid lose today, they will actually drop out of the Champions League spots in La Liga - never mind the title race.

Fourth-placed Real are eight points off leaders Barcelona - and only above today's opponents Sevilla on goal difference.

First, let's start with the good news for Real Madrid.

Cristiano Ronaldo won his FIFTH Ballon d'Or this week, levelling with Lionel Messi's all-time record.

That was the day after he became the first player to score in all six Champions League group games.

Zinedine Zidane, who won the 1998 award, thinks C-Ron is "the best player in the history of football".
