Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers talking to BBC Sportsound: "It's important that for the team that we want to be fresh in every game.

"Young Odsonne Edouard's been outstanding of late, but as a young player you've got to be careful with him. I now have three strikers that are very hungry, and know they need to press and defend for the team, and when they have chances they need to take them.

"Leigh and Scott Brown will always get a nice welcome here because of their Hibs connection. But Leigh's an outstanding player and those types of environments probably spur him on even more.

"We have got to defend and press the game with a real intensity, and then our football qualities can hopefully come out."

    Hearts v Celtic (12:30)

Hearts boss Craig Levein on BBC Radio Scotland: "We have a number of injuries, which is a bit disconcerting. When I looked at what we had available, I thought our best option was to have a go and see if we can take the game to Celtic.

"It is a risk but I don't think we have enough experience to try to defend for long periods in our own half against Celtic. We have some energy and pace, and we will see how we get on.

"On their day, if everybody is focused, Celtic have proved they are difficult to beat. They have to under-perform slightly, and we have to be at our best. That is what we are going to concentrate on, and if we do make opportunities, we have to take them.

"It is possible, but we are going to have to press really well as a group. One day they will lose, and I hope it is today."
