  2. 'Karanka wants a cup run'published at 15:01 Greenwich Mean Time 27 January 2018

Hull v Nottingham Forest (15:00 GMT)

    Shay Given
    Ex-Newcastle goalkeeper on Final Score

I worked with Aitor Karanka at Middlesbrough, and he wants to win every game

Today is no different, He's a great manager and wants a cup run and you can see that in his team selection, just one change.

I think he's got a big future in the game and a good fit for Nottingham Forest.

  3. KICK-OFFpublished at 15:00 Greenwich Mean Time 27 January 2018

And we are up and running at the KCOM Stadium, shortly followed by everywhere else in the 15:00 GMT kick-offs.

  4. 'Birmingham can cause an upset'published at 14:57 Greenwich Mean Time 27 January 2018

    Huddersfield v Birmingham (15:00 GMT)

    Shay Given
    Ex-Newcastle goalkeeper on Final Score

It'll be quite even depending on how Huddersfield look at it.

The teams fighting at the bottom of the Premier League tend to give up a cup run, so Birmingham can cause an upset.

  5. Elsewherepublished at 14:56 Greenwich Mean Time 27 January 2018

Championship leaders Wolves are without a win in four games - could they be getting a bit of vertigo at the top of the pile?

They are taking on Ipswich this afternoon. You can follow that via our EFL live text.

Meanwhile Scottish Premier League leaders Celtic are up against Hibernian and former manager Neil Lennon in the game of the day north of the border.

    Catch that doozie just here.

  6. Team newspublished at 14:51 Greenwich Mean Time 27 January 2018

MK Dons v Coventry (15:00 GMT)

New MK Dons manager Dan Micciche makes three changes in his first game in charge – Dean Lewington is back to captain, while Ed Upson and Kieran Agard also come in.

Coventry also make three changes - from the side which beat Swindon Town 3-1 last week - as Josh Barrett makes his first start since arriving on loan from Reading, while Liam Kelly and Rod McDonald return to the starting XI.

  7. Irons steelier under Moyespublished at 14:50 Greenwich Mean Time 27 January 2018

Wigan v West Ham (15:00 GMT)

    Shay Given
    Ex-Newcastle goalkeeper on Final Score

There's definitely a steel about West Ham now, they're harder to break down and harder to beat.

Marko Arnoutovic has been their stand out player since David Moyes has come in. He's playing well, scoring and also tracking back

    Peterborough 1-5 Leicester

    Fousseni DiabateImage source, Reuters

Leicester made a clutch of changes for the trip to Peterborough - and it all came up roses for Claude Puel as his side swatted aside the Posh 5-1.

Kelechi Iheanacho scored twice, but so did Fousseni Diabate on his debut.

The 22-year-old striker arrived earlier this month from the French second tier for a reported fee of £4.4m.

He had underwhelming stats of three goals in 20 games this season, but looked the business today by all accounts.

Another gem dug up by the Foxes.

  9. 'Notts County can cause problems'published at 14:41 Greenwich Mean Time 27 January 2018

Notts County v Swansea (15:00 GMT)

    Shay Given
    Ex-Newcastle goalkeeper on Final Score

I think Notts County can cause Swansea problems today.

They've got some experienced players in Shola Ameobi, Jon Stead and Alan Smith.

They'll know what it's like coming to lower league grounds as Premier League players

With still four days left of the transfer window, the FA Cup is a prime chance to impress potential buyers.

The Guardian have put together a list of the players, external you need to keep an eye on this weekend.

Nottingham Forest's teenage striker Ben Brereton is among those flagged up. Apparently Liverpool, Tottenham and Everton are among those already on the case.

    Yeovil 0-4 Man Utd

    Alexis SanchezImage source, Reuters

It probably wasn't for nights like Friday that Alexis Sanchez joined Manchester United.

It is probably was not for trips to Huish Park that United are ponying up somewhere near £500,000 a week in wages.

But the Chile international brought a cutting edge to Manchester's United's attack in the 4-0 win over Yeovil, helping set up his side's first two goals on his debut last night.

Alan Shearer is a believer. "I thought he was United's best player on the pitch. The Manchester United fans will love his will to win, his drive, his character."

  13. Team news - Mario on bench for Hammerspublished at 14:29 Greenwich Mean Time 27 January 2018

West Ham boss David Moyes makes six changes from last weekend's 1-1 draw with Bournemouth.

Toni Martínez and Javier Hernandez start up front, with Joe Hart returning in goal.

New signing Joao Mario is on the bench for the visitors having arrived on loan from Inter Milan this week.

For the home side, League One leaders Wigan make one change from their 3-1 away win over Plymouth last week as Callum Elder comes in for Reece James.

Jay Fulton, who joined Wigan on loan from Swansea for rest of season this week, is on the bench.
