The weekend's EFL action kicked-off on Friday night with a crucial win for Bolton at The Macron Stadium against Bristol City.

Sammy Ameobi bagged the only goal of the game to pull the Trotters out of the Championship relegation zone and deny Bristol City the chance to close the gap on the top two.

Ameobi made sure his first goal since October was a decent one with a neat low drilled shot from outside the box after a solo run from his own penalty area.
