Ellis: VAR is having a party!

Tom: VAR in full working order - but to be fair to the official it was extremely tight.

Adam: If you ever need proof why VAR is a bad thing? Take a look at the lack of passion from scoring a goal.

  9. CLOSE!published at 21:30 Greenwich Mean Time 16 January 2018

And now Marko Arnautovic drills in to the side netting! Can West Ham snatch a late goal?

The linesman rules Iheanacho's effort out but did the whole ball cross the line...what do you think?

  11. CLOSE!published at 21:28 Greenwich Mean Time 16 January 2018

Toni Martinez is played in on goal by Marko Arnautovic but the youngster drills a shot into the side-netting! Chance for West Ham.

  12. 'VAR - it's happened!'published at 21:27 Greenwich Mean Time 16 January 2018

    Leicester 2-0 Fleetwood

    Kevin Kilbane
Former Republic of Ireland winger on 5 Live

    It's happened!

It was onside, it's the right decision.

It's great movement from Iheanacho and it's Nathan Pond who keeps him onside - his right leg is just trailing ever so slightly.

You do feel for the assistant but it's such a tight call, you know its a tough one, but ultimately the final decision is now right. What I did like was that the decision was made upstairs - John Moss didn't have to go and view it, the decision was made for him.

I have to say the Leicester crowd rather enjoyed that. They cranked up the atmosphere until the decision was made and then celebrated for a second time. Thumbs up for VAR?

  14. SUBSTITUTION - Vardy onpublished at 21:25 Greenwich Mean Time 16 January 2018

    Leicester 2-0 Fleetwood

That all worked well. Wasn't a big delay, the linesman flagged for offside but understandably so, the decision was very tight. And the right call was made in the end.

Ticks all round for VAR I think.

  18. goal

GOAL - Leicester 2-0 Fleetwoodpublished at 21:23 Greenwich Mean Time 16 January 2018

    Kelechi Iheanacho

Historic! The goal is given after consultation with the VAR. I think it's just about right as well, Kelechi Iheanacho's back foot was level with Nathan Pond.

  20. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 21:22 Greenwich Mean Time 16 January 2018

    Leicester 1-0 Fleetwood

A lovely goal, disallowed again! Riyad Mahrez carries the ball a long way and plays a cracking reverse pass into the run of Kelechi Iheanacho, who finishes neatly.

    It's very tight...
