    Dafydd Pritchard
    BBC Sport Wales

A defender joining Swindon on loan from Bristol Rovers may have passed under the radar for most today - but Rollin Menayese might deserve a wider audience.

Has there ever been a name better suited to a chant?

I suggest Swindon fans serenade their new signing by using his name in an adapted version of 'Proud Mary' - Rollin, Rollin, Rollin Menayese etc etc.

I think deadline day is getting to me.

'Vulgar' spending by clubs in transfer window - Ian Wright

Ian Wright says that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will be a good signing for Arsenal but calls the spending in the game 'astronomically high.'

"It's ridiculous, it's gone crazy. The money is vulgar, it doesn't feel right," says the former England man.

    Thoughts?

Andy Capontes: Aubameyang seems a great signing, a little miffed why my LFC & Klopp didn’t go in for him or any other club for that matter. There must be something wrong. Maybe Klopp’s inside man at Dortmund tipped him off...

Andy, Aldershot: Best signing(s) so far? McDonnell and Fowler joining us from Ipswich, Kinsella from Colchester plus Robert on loan from Forest Green. Helping Aldershot to push for promotion!

Anon: Southampton are going down. Incompetence shown at the highest level from Reed and Krueger, and it's ruined everything Adkins, Pochettino and Koeman worked for. What a waste.

David Silva had an early exit in Manchester City's first half against West Brom. Could that force the league leaders back into the market?

Jesus and Sane injured. Now Silva injured. Something tells me Man City might finally reach Leicester’s valuation. Coutinho £140m, van Dijk £75m and Mahrez £95 mill valuation according to current market fees (which I agree is absurd) is fair.
