  1. 'Keeper doesn't cover himself in glory'published at 20:14 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February 2018

    Porto 0-1 Liverpool

BBC Radio 5 live at Estadio do Dragao

    It was coming.

Porto haven't been great defensively, they want to attack as much as Liverpool. They should have scored in the move before if Mane squared the ball to Wijnaldum, but eventually it fell back to Mane, and I tell you what; the keeper doesn’t cover himself in glory. Just squirms under his body.

Ian: Why aren’t Liverpool playing in red? It’s not like the kits clash.

Akin: Not sure Liverpool have had any poor results in this orange jersey.

Richard: This Porto keeper must be made of Swiss cheese. How does that go through him?

    Real Madrid 0-0 PSG

A great save from PSG keeper Alphonse Areola keeps Real Madrid out. A wonderful Marcelo cross cuts PSG open, Cristiano Ronaldo takes a couple of touches and then blasts the ball at the face of Areola, who looks like he might be knocked out for a second.

But the goalkeeper is fine to continue. He made himself big, which is what forced Ronaldo into a quick shot.

  4. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:12 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February 2018

    Real Madrid 0-0 PSG

Chance for Real Madrid. PSG midfielder Giovani lo Celso is booked for fouling Isco and Cristiano Ronaldo fires the free-kick just over the bar.

    Sadio Mane (25 mins)

Liverpool lead and it's a goalkeeping howler.

Good persistence from Georginio Wijnaldum, who plays a shot - which comes back off a Porto defender's face.

Wijnaldum finds Sadio Mane, whose 14-yard shot somehow squirms through Jose Sa's body. Awful.

    Porto 0-0 Liverpool

    Pat Nevin
BBC Radio 5 live at Estadio do Dragao

When Liverpool step it up, they seemed to find little pockets of space really easily.

When they decide to up it a bit, they go through the Porto defence with such ease.

I know it is 0-0, but I think Jurgen Klopp will be delighted with the start.

Tom: There’s Marcelo in a nutshell. Down screaming in agony (surrounded by concerned players and medics) with one arm grasping the other, then happily taking a throw in two minutes later!

John: Here we go 75 minutes of Real Madrid trying to get Neymar sent off.

Thomas: Neymar looking like a candidate for a red card after only 15 minutes. Such a wonderful skillful player yet such a spoilt petulant brat at the same time

    Porto 0-0 Liverpool

Liverpool almost take advantage of a bad keeping clearance, but Diego Reyes clears Mohamed Salah's cross after he was played in by Roberto Firmino. Had Reyes not dealt with it, Sadio Mane would have had a scoring chance.

    Real Madrid 0-0 PSG

Dani Alves - who has played in so many classic games against Real Madrid for Barcelona - plays in a cross but Edinson Cavani can't keep it in play.

End to end, as Real Madrid attack again.

Neymar is now hacked down by Luka Modric, but the Real Madrid player avoids a yellow card. It was a fairly similar challenge. Not sure he's too happy at the moment.

  15. 'Where have Porto been hiding Otavio'published at 20:01 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February 2018

    Porto 0-0 Liverpool

    Pat Nevin
BBC Radio 5 live at Estadio do Dragao

Been going on about Otavio from the start of the game. Where have they been hiding him?

Absolutely been the best players in this game by a country mile so far. Yes it’s early days, but I think he’s been a real surprise to Liverpool, I don’t they were expecting him in there. Classic number 10 position, really intelligent with the ball.

Otavio is a 23-year-old number 10, no caps for Brazil.

  16. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:00 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February 2018

    Real Madrid 0-0 PSG

Neymar controls a long ball, but he used his hand to get it down and it went wide anyway.

He's a bit riled up, wanted a corner I suspect, and seconds later he hacks down Nacho from behind - getting a yellow card. Against his future team-mates?

    Real Madrid 0-0 PSG

Real defender Marcelo gets a whack from fellow Brazil full-back Dani Alves and goes down with what looks for a minute like it might be a serious injury.

He gets treatment and he's back on, although he's grimacing.

    Porto 0-0 Liverpool

Chance for Porto as Moussa Marega picks out Otavio in the box, but his shot from near the penalty spot is deflected over the crossbar.

    Decent start for the hosts.
