Andrew Gains: Nobody except the Welsh saying Cardiff will get 2nd, we're very happy to go under the radar and keep plugging away. Everyone else will fight each other into the play-offs. We'll go up with Wolves and Fulham from Wembley.

Gareth Tucker: Nobody’s mentioning Cardiff in the promotion push so I’m going to. The Bluebirds to bully it into second place.

Steve Cornforth: On current form I’d go Wolves and Cardiff 1 & 2 with Villa, Fulham, Derby & Bristol in playoffs. Villa nicking it if players are all fit.

Cardiff snatch a goal and all the Bluebirds come out in force!

    Super sub!

Leeds break away after a Derby free-kick is cleared and Ezgjan Alioski heads home after his first shot is saved by Scott Carson.

Fellow sub Samu Saiz was also instrumental in the attack.

    Bristol City 1-1 Fulham

Changes for both sides at Ashton Gate.

Wing-back Joe Bryan replaces Hordur Magnusson for the hosts, while Floyd Ayite and Aboubakar Kamara replace Matt Targett and goalscorer Aleksandar Mitrovic for Fulham.

    Ipswich 0-1 Cardiff

Can Ipswich fight back for a point against Cardiff?

Not with finishing like this they can't.

Grant Ward works a little space to try another curling effort on goal, but he can't wrap his foot around the ball and sends his effort some distance wide.

  8. Postpublished at 21:19 Greenwich Mean Time 21 February 2018

    Derby 1-1 Leeds

Derby make their second change of the night, with Chelsea loanee Kasey Palmer coming on for Tom Lawrence.

That's their second change after Cameron Jerome came on for David Nugent a few minutes ago.

Meanwhile, Leeds make their final alteration with Pablo Hernandez making way for Ezgjan Alioski.

  9. Postpublished at 21:18 Greenwich Mean Time 21 February 2018

    Bristol City 1-1 Fulham

It's Fulham's turn to threaten at Bristol City.

Ryan Sessegnon whips a peach of a cross in the direction of Aleksandar Mitrovic, who is inches away from applying the finishing touch.

Sessegnon, in case you'd forgotten, doesn't turn 18 until May.

    Ipswich 0-1 Cardiff

Kenneth Zohore should put the game beyond doubt, but he heads wide from Junior Hoilett's free-kick.

Mick McCarthy will not be impressed with how his side have defended from set-pieces tonight.

    Derby 1-1 Leeds

Now it's Leeds who go close.

Pablo Hernandez sends in a fine cross that Liam Cooper heads just over the crossbar.

The defender will possibly think he should have done better from what was a lovely ball from the Spaniard.

Wayne Childe: Love how everyone isn’t talking about Derby any more, takes the pressure off, up the Rams!

Josh Dodd: As a Villa fan I'd love us to go up automatically but the way Cardiff, Derby and Fulham are playing it's going to be a big ask, especially when our key players are injured...

Colin Holden: Wolves and Villa automatic. Would love Preston to go up in play-offs but think it will be Cardiff.

Patrick Rhoads: Looking at 6 though 14 on the table, who’s captured the most points in 2018? Why that would be Millwall. COYL, time to do a Huddersfield!

We're big fans of that research, Patrick!

    Kenneth Zohore (65 mins)

I did say they were effective.

Having failed to have a shot on target in the first hour of play, Cardiff take the lead as Gary Madine heads Joe Ralls' long free-kick to Kenneth Zohore, who misses his volley, picks himself up and stabs the ball past Bartosz Bialkowski.

Do Ipswich have the cutting edge required to get back on terms?

  16. Postpublished at 21:09 Greenwich Mean Time 21 February 2018

    Ipswich 0-0 Cardiff

You can't deny that Cardiff are a very effective side in the Championship, but they do have nights like this from time to time.

The Bluebirds are having a few too many efforts from distance, Loic Damour hitting the latest of them wide of goal.

There is very little to separate the two teams an hour into the match.

    Derby 1-1 Leeds

Derby striker David Nugents scuffs wide after Laurens de Bock gives the ball away to Derby goalscorer Andreas Weimann.

Could the hosts end up ruing these missed opportunities?

    Bristol City 1-1 Fulham

    Bobby ReidImage source, Rex Features

A few meaty tackles are starting to fly in at Ashton Gate.

Aden Flint takes down Fulham's Aleksandar Mitrovic with a firm but fair challenge, and fortunately the Serbian striker is able to continue after a little bit of treatment.

Bobby Reid has had the best chance of the half for Bristol City, the Robins forward just unable to latch onto Famara Diedhiou's header under pressure from keeper Marcus Bettinelli.

  19. Postpublished at 21:04 Greenwich Mean Time 21 February 2018

    Wolves pushing for a third.

Ivan Cavaleiro goes close twice in three minutes before hitting a cross that just misses everyone.

Kevin Harrison: Promoted 1st Wolves, 2nd Villa, playoff winners Fulham. Derby finish 8th as they always collapse in a New Year.

Will Rawlinson: Absolutely certain North End will get promoted this year. We finally won our first play-offs after nine attempts, we're on a roll...

Steve James: 1) Wolves 2) Fulham and the early favorites Middlesbrough will make a late drive to win the play-offs.

    John Daniels: What battle?

Come on, John - I know Wolves are well clear but the rest is very much up for grabs...
