Callum McManaman's 96th-minute equaliser rescued bottom side Sunderland a point in a 3-3 draw with Middlesbrough, after both sides had had a player sent off in the first half.

Sunderland manager Chris Coleman:

"If we want to keep our home supporters with us, to keep them coming, then we have to keep doing what we did today and against Bolton.

"If we want to make the last dozen games uncomfortable, make it feel like five seasons long, then keep turning up like we were pre-Bolton.

"We have to go for it and stay in our games. That sends good messages and vibes, we did that today.

"If we do that more often than not we will get points. It's not easy but it's very doable. There will be a time when we win and it will change the face of everything."

Talking of having work to do, Sunderland have plenty.

However, today's last-gasp draw with Middlesbrough may have given some hope of them bridging the four-point gap between themselves and fourth-from-bottom Barnsley.

So Fulham remain fifth with that win, but they're now only five points behind second-placed Cardiff, who host Bristol City tomorrow.

And they have real momentum. Do we have a four-horse race for the second promotion slot between Cardiff, Aston Villa, Derby and Fulham? Or can the chasing pack reel in Wolves?

Fulham goalscorer Ryan Sessegnon told Sky Sports:

"We hope we can be automatic promotion contenders. We've had two big wins against Aston Villa and Wolves, and that shows how we've pushed this season.

"It's been a much better season and we just want to continue that.

"I've played well this season, but the team playing well is helping me play well."

Sunderland boss Chris Coleman said he had no complaints about either of the red cards in his side's 3-3 draw with Middlesbrough, but Boro boss Tony Pulis was unhappy with Adama Traore's dismissal.

Middlesbrough boss Tony Pulis said:

"There's really good things about this team I like, but other things they have to really toughen up to. Seeing games out, seeing things through is one of them.

"It's the mental stuff, the crowd with the last opportunity of the game is when you puff your chest out and dig in, concentrate, I am disappointed for the fans today.

"Adama's sending-off was a disappointment, Oviedo has walked round the back of him and poked him in the eye.

"Adama has raised his hands and shouldn't have shoved him in the chest. I am not sure if we can appeal but if we can we will."

Only three minutes plus stoppage time for Fulham to hold on.

Wolves are heading for a fifth defeat of the season.

Millwall's surprising push for a play-off place continued with a 1-0 victory at Burton which left them just six points outside the top six spots.

Millwall manager Neil Harris said:

"Millwall are going like a steam train at the minute. We have no fear of the division anymore.

"Four in a row away from home and anyone that has seen us all season, we could easily have doubled that on the road.

"I certainly felt that Burton should have took something out of the game but I thought we should have comfortably won the home game against Burton so it's probably swings and roundabouts.

"I have to give the credit to my players for finding another way of winning a game. I couldn't be happier at the moment."
