  1. Postpublished at 38 mins

    Leeds 0-1 Wolves

This looks soft. Samuel Saiz tangles with Barry Douglas and wins Leeds a free-kick in an attacking position wide right.

The home team take it short, but Stuart Dallas' low attempt is blocked almost at source. He might've been better served chucking it into the box.

  2. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 36 mins

    Leeds 0-1 Wolves

    Liam CooperImage source, Rex Features

Liam Cooper is helped off the field by the Leeds physios and is indeed replaced by Matthew Pennington.

The home side will be disappointed to lose their captain, of course, but on the flip side that long pause in play may well disrupt Wolves' growing attacking momentum.

    Leeds 0-1 Wolves

I'm not sure Liam Cooper is going to be able to continue here. It looks like it might be a knee injury.

Matthew Pennington is stripping off and preparing to come on.

  4. Postpublished at 32 mins

    Leeds 0-1 Wolves

Leeds skipper Liam Cooper goes down in a heap from the corner and stays down. It looks really innocuous, having collided with his team-mate Gaetano Berardi. There's certainly no foul there.

Wolves aren't too chuffed about the whole episode, meanwhile, having won the ball and launched a counter-attack only for the referee to halt the play.

  5. Postpublished at 31 mins

    Leeds 0-1 Wolves

Now what for Paul Heckingbottom and his Leeds side? They really need to wrestle back some of this Wolves momentum.

That certainly helps from Stuart Dallas, mind you, as he goes on a surging run down the left and wins a corner for the hosts.

GOAL: Leeds 0-1 Wolvespublished at 28 mins

    Romain Saiss

To say this has been coming would be something of an understatement.

Romain Saiss is completely unmarked from the resulting set-piece and calmly heads across goal and into the bottom corner to put Wolves in front.

    Bailey Peacock-Farrell had no chance.

  7. Postpublished at 27 mins

    Leeds 0-0 Wolves

A Wolves goal is surely only around the corner.

Bailey Peacock-Farrell is again called into action, this time springing off his line superbly to deny Diogo Jota. An excellent piece of goalkeeping.

From the following passage of play, another Matt Doherty cross is just about hacked away, before Gaetano Berardi deflects an effort over the bar for another Wolves corner.

... Which Leo Bonatini gets on the end of, but is only able to divert over the crossbar with his thigh. It's another decent chance, you know!

It's all Wolves at the moment.

  9. Yellow card for Forshawpublished at 22 mins

    Leeds 0-0 Wolves

Leeds midfielder Adam Forshaw is the first man to go into the book, going in late on Diogo Jota. Another chance to get the ball into the box...

  10. Postpublished at 20 mins

    Leeds 0-0 Wolves

Oh my, Wolves should be ahead!

Matt Doherty is the creator, getting clear down the right and sending a perfect come-and-tap-me-in pass across goal for Diogo Jota, who somehow fails to connect.

    It's a really good chance.

  11. Postpublished at 19 mins

    Leeds 0-0 Wolves

A first chance for Wolves - and a first save for 21-year-old Bailey Peacock-Farrell!

It's Ivan Cavaleiro with the shot, sending a half-volley across goal from the corner of the area, but it's a comfortable height for the young Leeds goalkeeper to palm away.

  12. Postpublished at 18 mins

    Leeds 0-0 Wolves

Now Barry Douglas goes flying into a crunching challenge down by the Wolves corner flag. That just about sums up the opening throes of this match.

On the subject of Douglas, what a signing he's been for Wolves. One of the players of the season so far, a really under-rated defender.

You could probably file the first 15 minutes here under 'typical Championship match'. Plenty of effort, endeavour and tempo but no genuine quality or clear sights of goal just yet.

The Elland Road crowd is soon up after a couple of meaty challenges in the middle of the park, but Pontus Jansson's cross is cut out and Wolves have a goal kick.

  14. Postpublished at 12 mins

    Leeds 0-0 Wolves

Pontus Jansson gets an early talking to by the referee after a late challenge on Wolves forward Diogo Jota on the halfway line.

A few moments later, Leo Bonatini almost finds himself clear on the edge of the Leeds box but the pass is marginally behind him and he can't get it under control. Unlucky.

  15. Postpublished at 8 mins

    Leeds 0-0 Wolves

But, after Barry Douglas' near-post delivery is easily cleared, the set-piece amounts to nothing.

  16. Postpublished at 7 mins

    Leeds 0-0 Wolves

They may be three games without a victory, but this Wolves team certainly don't look short of confidence.

Some decent play down the right works Leo Bonatini into space around 20 yards out, but his effort towards goal is deflected behind for the game's first corner.

It's been a high-tempo start at Elland Road, with both teams pressing high and affording the opposition with little time and space in possession.

In the reverse fixture in November, Wolves were convincing winners - Barry Douglas, Ivan Cavaleiro, Diogo Jota and Helder Costa scoring in a 4-1 victory for Wanderers.

The past six meetings have yielded 22 goals... More of the same tonight?

  18. Postpublished at 4 mins

    Leeds 0-0 Wolves

Leeds captain Liam Cooper rises highest to flick the ball towards goal, forcing John Ruddy into a really smart save down to his left-hand side - but the linesman's flag had already been raised.

  19. Postpublished at 3 mins

    Leeds 0-0 Wolves

The hosts win an early free-kick wide on the left, with Hadi Sacko brought down near the touchline.

A first opportunity for Leeds to chuck the big men forward and get the ball into the Wolves box.
