It's 20 years to the day since Wolves beat Leeds, then a Premier League team, in an FA Cup quarter-final at Elland Road.

Don Goodman scored Wolves' winner that day, while goalkeeper Hans Segers (remember him?) saved a late Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink penalty.

Five points from five games is a solid but unspectacular start to Paul Heckingbottom's reign as Leeds United boss.

Tuesday's results left nine points below the play-off places. To finish in the top six, they need to start picking up wins - and quickly.

For most clubs, going three games without a win probably wouldn't be considered much of a wobble.

However, that represents Wolves' longest run without a Championship victory this season.

They do still have a handy seven-point lead over third-placed Aston Villa - with a game in hand to be played tonight - although they could do without any sort of slip-up here with a trip to Villa Park to come on Saturday.

Either way, they're not really going to blow it, are they?

Goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell makes only his second senior start for Leeds, the 21-year-old coming in for Felix Wiedwald as one of three changes made by manager Paul Heckingbottom.

Wolves make two changes, with Danny Batth and Diogo Jota returning to the side after the 2-0 defeat at Fulham 11 days ago.

Leeds United: Peacock-Farrell, Anita, Jansson, Cooper, Berardi, Phillips, Forshaw, Sacko, Saiz, Dallas, Lasogga.

Wolverhampton Wanderers: Ruddy, Douglas, Boly, Coady, Batth, Doherty, Saiss, N'Diaye, Jota, Bonatini, Cavaleiro.

... But this is the Championship. And, as we should probably all know by now, that's not really how the Championship works.

So, while Pep Guardiola's men need just four more wins to seal the Premier League title, Wolves still have a fair bit of work to do before Nuno Espirito Santo's secretary can go booking the open top bus.

And that work starts tonight at Elland Road.

Welcome to our coverage of Leeds United v Wolverhampton Wanderers.

A couple of months ago, a few of us in the office were speculating whether Manchester City or Wolverhampton Wanderers would win their respective leagues first.

It was starting to look like it'd be a close run thing, with Wolves topping the second-tier table since the end of October and, at one point in February, even managing to open up a whopping 15-point lead over third...
