Wolves down to nine men now!

Full-back Matt Doherty - already booked - goes up for a header with George Friend and leads with the arm, catching the Boro man in the head.

Can't really have many complaints about that one either. Wolves have lost their discipline here.

  5. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 18:58 British Summer Time 30 March 2018

    Middlesbrough 0-2 Wolves

Middlesbrough are bringing on a second striker for the final 20 minutes, to try to get back into this match against the 10 men of Wolves.

£15m man Britt Assombalonga is on for Adam Clayton.

Ryan Shotton is also replaced, with Martin Cranie his replacement.

    Reading 1-0 QPR

Vito Mannone makes a crucial save to keep it at 1-0, as the Royals keeper tips over Paul Smyth's effort.

Substitute Matt Smith headed over moments ago. Rangers are really pushing for an equaliser.

  7. YELLOW CARDpublished at 18:55 British Summer Time 30 March 2018

    Middlesbrough 0-2 Wolves

Wolves midfielder Romain Saiss gets booked for a lunge on Adama Traore. Not the best challenge.

What's that - 19 bookings in this match now? I've lost count. It's definitely a lot.

    Reading 1-0 QPR

    Quote Message

Reading need a spell of possession here to just hold off this QPR surge. I'd love Reading to get a second goal to put this one a bit safer, but if they can't get time on the ball, they're not going to score.

    Middlesbrough 0-2 Wolves

Patrick Bamford is almost in the clear for Middlesbrough but slips at the vital moment. A chance goes begging.

  11. YELLOW CARDpublished at 18:52 British Summer Time 30 March 2018

    Middlesbrough 0-2 Wolves

Another yellow card - Middlesbrough's Ryan Shotton fouls Helder Costa and is booked.

Referee Stuart Attwell has a job on to keep control now, with the blood of both sets of players currently being up.

It all started with that clip by George Friend on Costa which went unpunished. On another day, that's a foul and a red card.

Wolves make another sub - Leo Bonatini is on for Benik Afobe. Jonny Howson is on for the hosts in place of Grant Leadbitter.

  12. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 18:47 British Summer Time 30 March 2018

    Middlesbrough 0-2 Wolves

How do Wolves respond to going down to 10 men?

Wolves head coach Nuno makes the midfield more solid by bringing on Alfred N'Diaye in place of Ivan Cavaleiro.

He gets another handshake from his boss - just like the one he got when he scored Wolves' second goal in the first half.

    Reading 1-0 QPR

    Quote Message

QPR came back from two goals down in their last game and now that Matt Smith is coming on, he'll certainly put himself about in the Reading defence. QPR still look dangerous and this game is still in the balance.

The Wolves man slides in recklessly on George Friend, and the Portuguese midfielder sees a second yellow, followed by a red.

    Middlesbrough 0-2 Wolves

Goodness me - is that an escape for Boro?

Ruben Neves slips Helder Costa clean through on goal, and George Friend clips him. No foul.

Boro break and, in frustration, Matt Doherty scythes down Adama Traore. The Wolves man is booked.

  16. Postpublished at 18:39 British Summer Time 30 March 2018

    Middlesbrough 0-2 Wolves

Patrick Bamford is still playing as a lone striker for Middlesbrough - don't expect it to stay like that for too long.

    Boro need goals.

    Reading 1-0 QPR

It was a frustrating first half for QPR boss Ian Holloway.

Reading were putting their bodies on the line to block efforts left, right and centre.

He'll hope the R's can find a breakthrough in the second period and extend their four-match unbeaten run.

It's all going well for Paul Clement so far at Reading.

1-0 up in his first game in charge through Sone Aluko's early goal, the Royals are heading six points clear of the relegation zone.

Can his new side hold on for a first win in 10 league games? The second half has just got started.

  19. KICK-OFFpublished at 18:33 British Summer Time 30 March 2018

No changes for sixth-placed Middlesbrough or leaders Wolves at half-time.

    Wolves get things restarted.

    FT: Leeds 2-1 Bolton

Manager Paul Heckingbottom watches from the sidelines as Leeds beat Bolton 2-1Image source, Rex Features

Manager Paul Heckingbottom said Leeds made hard work of beating Bolton 2-1.

The win took Leeds to within nine points of the play-offs, prior to Wolves' game against sixth-placed Middlesbrough at the Riverside, and kept alive their slim chances of reaching the play-offs.

"We more than deserved the three points," Heckingbottom told BBC Radio Leeds.

"The chances created were a positive but we should have been well in control of the game. There were definitely a lot of chances we should’ve put away.

"We had chances from set plays, chances from the counter, chances from good play."
