Swansea are upping the tempo now, Jordan Ayew again drilling a shot at Cameron Dawson after a slick interchange with fellow sub Nathan Dyer. That came after Dawson also had to stop a shot from Wayne Routledge.

This flurry of action continues as Swansea roll the tactical dice again. This is more enforced though as Tammy Abraham trudges off with a knock and is replaced by fellow forward Jordan Ayew.

"Off, off, off!" chant the Wednesday fans. They want to see red after Mike van der Hoorn goes in late on Jack Hunt. It's clumsy, but there's not much contact. Ref Paul Tierney goes in his side pocket... yellow.

Almost as if the Swansea players know their number might be up, they go on the attack. Luciano Narsingh swings a cross in from the right, Ki Sung-yeung can't divert it goalwards. Then Wednesday break...

What this game needs is a change. Something to freshen it up. Carlos Carvalhal agrees - he's got Nathan Dyer limbering up.

I feel like I've been writing 'Swansea clear another Wednesday cross' on repeat. So it's not surprising that Swans skipper Kyle Bartley has made a game-high eight clearances so far.
