    Arsenal 0-0 Ostersunds FK

The concern for Ostersunds FK, though, is that given they are currently out of season domestically they could tire quickly if they continue with this high tempo, aggressive football.

Are half and half scarves ever acceptable? Is tonight a good example, a superb souvenir for the away fans?

When Stoke unexpectedly got into the Europa League I felt no shame in buying a half and half scarf away in Dynamo Kiev. Although to be honest that was also a form of protection from the local ultras!

    Arsenal 0-0 Ostersunds FK

LOTS of space for Ostersunds FK to attack into as they break quickly through Brwa Nouri. He finds Jamie Hopcutt out wide who holds before picking out Saman Ghoddos on the edge of the area. The forward - excellent in the first leg - plays a superb ball through the defence and Nouri is in on goal, but fluffs his first touch and the chance is gone.

That was a lovely move by the visitors. They are giving it a real go.

  4. Postpublished at 6 mins

    Arsenal 0-0 Ostersunds FK

First corner for Arsenal as Sotirios Papagiannopoulos deflects behind a ball through for Danny Welbeck.

Sead Kolasinac is up challenging for the corner but Ostersunds FK clear.

    Arsenal 0-0 Ostersunds FK

The lively Jamie Hopcutt is briefly through on goal but he hesitates and Arsenal get back into the box. Ostersunds keep up the attack again and Hopcutt has a shot from a cross blocked.

So far, so good for Ostersunds, but why were they not this positive in the first leg?

    Arsenal

Tom Wilkinson: This isn't a strong team at all - only Bellerin and possibly Wilshere will start against Man City at the weekend. Wenger has the balance right. Picking a team of kids would be ripping off the fans who've bought tickets.

Gary Martin: If Wenger played a weak team and lost people would be crying that he should have played a stronger team, he plays a strong team and people are crying he should have played a weaker team. I'm not his biggest fan but come on!

Gooner Dom: Team selection is Wenger's way of asking the squad: "who's up for Sunday's only chance of silverware?

Anon: Wenger plays a weak team at Nottingham Forest and he's branded arrogant. Plays a strong team today and he's clueless. The man can't win!

No, the corner is comfortably cleared.

Still, positive start by the visitors.

    Ey up.

An early chance for Ostersunds FK as Jamie Hopcutt drives forward. He tries to square for a team-mate in the box but Hector Bellerin hacks behind for a corner.

Chance for the visitors to get an early goal?

  11. FULL-TIME - Celtic out of the Europa Leaguepublished at 19:58 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February 2018

Celtic's Europa League campaign has ended at the first knock-out hurdle as the Scottish champions lost 3-0 for a 3-1 aggregate defeat at Zenit St Petersburg in their round-of-32 tie.

Branislav Ivanovic, given a free header inside the box, powered home a corner after seven minutes to level the tie.

Aleksandr Kokorin missed a great chance before Daler Kuzyaev's swerving 25-yard shot deceived Dorus de Vries. Tom Rogic, Olivier Ntcham and Kristoffer Ajer had efforts before Kokorin bundled home Ivanovic's cross.

I never thought I'd say this, but I think half-and-half scarves are perfectly acceptable tonight.

This may be the only time Ostersunds FK get to play at Arsenal the Emirates, so something like this will make for a great souvenir.

  13. 'It's not a formality'published at 19:52 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February 2018

Arsenal v Ostersunds FK (3-0 first leg)

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger to BT Sport: “It’s not a formality. We have to show we’re focused. Things are strange in football. You have to be intelligent and focused.

“It’s a similar team we played in Ostersund. Most of the team is experienced. This is a competition that the [fringe] players have a good chance to show our quality and they’ll think they might get a position on Sunday [in the League Cup final]."

On Ostersund's rise: “It’s a nice story in football – so long as you don't pay the price."

Lazio are now 5-1 up against Steaua Bucharest. Ciro Immobile has completed his hat-trick.

The Romanians travelled to Rome with a 1-0 advantage. It's been a long and miserable night for them.

Sporting Lisbon are on course to replicate their 3-1 win over Astana in Kazakhstan last week. They currently lead 3-1 at the Estadio Jose Alvalade and it's 6-2 overall.

Meanwhile, Lorenzo Insigne has just scored to give Napoli a 2-0 lead at RB Leipzig. They still trail on away goals though.

Daniel: Does Wenger not know this is practically a dead-rubber?! Mental line-up.

Gambeano Snitch: Too strong a line-up from Wenger for a game clearly won. Any other situation would be fine but not when you have a final three days later.

Mark, Edinburgh: Fairly strong team. Europa League is Wenger's backdoor to next year's Champions League.

Arsenal v Ostersunds FK (3-0 first leg)

Ostersund manager Graham Potter to BT Sport: "It's a wonderful opportunity for us. We're bringing about 5,000 supporters - which is a wonderful reflection on where we've come from.

"We need to play well. We understand the quality of the opposition but we'll dream, try our best and hope for a miracle.

"We want to try to be positive and offensive. We want to try to attack, we need to score to change the environment. It's a tough challenge for us but a fantastic one."

Meanwhile, former Arsenal defender Sol Campbell has been talking about his managerial credentials again, calling himself "one of football's greatest minds".

Campbell recently went for the vacant position at Oxford United, but appears to have lost out to Craig Bellamy.

Speaking to football podcast Highbury & Heels,, external Campbell said: "I did go (for the Oxford job) and they didn't accept me. Maybe it was a lack of experience, things like that, but it's a full circle. Experience? How do I get experience? Well I need a job to get experience.

"I'm intelligent enough, it's not like I played on a fox and dog pitch all my life. I can't believe some people, I'm one of the greatest minds in football and I'm being wasted because of a lack of experience or 'maybe he talks his mind too much'."
