Izzy Christiansen plays a great ball down the right which finds Mel Lawley. The winger's cross is cut out but it comes straight back out to her and England fire it into the area.

It's Ellen White who is under it but it's a clear handball and USA regain possession.

Lucy Bronze shows her skill by calmly poking the ball past Megan Rapinoe just outside the defensive area.

England try to play Jodie Taylor in but the striker is offside and she turns away in frustration - she knew she went far too early.

Demi Stokes and Abbie McManus both thought each other was going to go for it. McManus did the right thing and played the ball back to Karen Bardsley, who was able to get it clear.

When Mallory Pugh gets the ball, she's straight away trying to beat Stokes - she's high on confidence. It's only when you get older, you start overthinking things.

England need to get their forwards into the game more. Fran Kirby, Ellen White and Mel Lawley are having to work hard without the ball but haven't really had many opportunities to get involved.

Abbie McManus and Demi Stokes are down on the ground after some confusion in the England defence. The ball manages to find its way safely back to Karen Bardsley but there was a little bit of hesitation there.

Mallory Pugh attacks Demi Stokes on the right-hand side and finds a yard of space to cross the ball in.

It's a poor delivery though and it flies straight out for a goal-kick.

She tries the same again moments later but this time Stokes is equal to it.

It was a little bit too easy for Megan Rapinoe. England are just allowing the USA to play the ball around them, giving them too much time. Rapinoe had time to pick her spot and should have done better. What's missing is the final ball from both sides.

Izzy Christiansen tries to squeeze a ball through to Ellen White but it's intercepted by USA and they can counter.

Megan Rapinoe had time to take a touch and put her laces through the ball on the edge of the area but the strike is comfortably wide.

Fran Kirby wins a corner for England but like the USA just moments ago, Neville's side waste the opportunity and now have to start again from the back.

USA are [on top] but not really creating anything or doing anything too well. England have remained organised and are making it difficult for them.

Phil Neville has called on his England players to trust him more

I think that will take time. It's a new manager, a new voice. It's about trying things. You don't want players to be scared. You want them to express themselves, especially the flair players.

Chelsea defender Anita Asante limped off against France which allowed Manchester City defender Abbie McManus to make her England debut.

She has been impressive throughout this tournament.

I've been impressed by Abbie McManus' positioning. She's getting in the right places and clearing the ball. It's a new centre-back pairing, which is always tough. It takes games to build that understanding.
