  1. 'More of the same from Stoke'published at 16:00 Greenwich Mean Time 17 March 2018

    Stoke 0-0 Everton

    Tom Heaton
Burnley and England goalkeeper on 5 live sports extra

If I am a Paul Lambert, I would want more of the same from Stoke. They haven't given it away cheaply, and played fairly well.

Beyond that, the counter attack will be important if Everton push on, and the widemen Xherdan Shaqiri and Ramadan Sobhi will be key in that. But for the most part continue what you are doing.

Adam Towndrow: Bournemouth have to find some magic and sneak a goal because if we lose this, we are back into nail-biting territory.

    Match of the Day

Poor game with minimal half chances at best for both. West Brom the brighter early on and look defensively untroubled. Francis off injured for Cherries. Point perhaps not ideal for either.

Chris Barraclough: Can't we relegate more than three sides this season? Five or six of them have been awful.

Manhattan: If I had to put three bets on relegation they would be West Brom, West Brom and West Brom.

  5. 'Everton must make advantage count'published at 15:51 Greenwich Mean Time 17 March 2018

    Stoke 0-0 Everton

    Tom Heaton
Burnley and England goalkeeper on 5 live sports extra

I think Everton have been solid enough, but with the man advantage, they now need to take the game to Stoke. A change might need to happen, probably one of their attacking players.

  6. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:48 Greenwich Mean Time 17 March 2018

    Bournemouth 0-0 West Brom

Goalless at the break but West Brom have arguably had the better chances.

    Huddersfield 0-1 Crystal Palace

Advantage Crystal Palace at the break.

  8. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:47 Greenwich Mean Time 17 March 2018

    Stoke 0-0 Everton

Time to scarper downstairs for a cup of something warm.

Referee Martin Atkinson hears a chorus of boos as he peeps his half-time whistle, Stoke fans unhappy with his decision to send off Charlie Adam.

All square in the scoreline, Everton lead by one in personnel.

  9. 'Stoke coping well'published at 15:45 Greenwich Mean Time 17 March 2018

    Stoke 0-0 Everton

    Tom Heaton
Burnley and England goalkeeper on 5 live sports extra

Stoke have dealt with the red card very well. They have retained possession pretty well and not panicked. An impressive spell for Stoke.

  10. Postpublished at 15:45 Greenwich Mean Time 17 March 2018

    Huddersfield 0-1 Crystal Palace

All Huddersfield now with two minutes to go until the break but despite despite dominating possession they haven't done anything to trouble Wayne Hennessey in the Palace goal. No shot on or off target yet for them.

  11. Postpublished at 15:45 Greenwich Mean Time 17 March 2018

    Stoke 0-0 Everton

The first target for Stoke is a simple one: see this through to the break. Then they can get back to the dressing room and await further instructions from the gaffer.

Everton knocking the ball around the halfway line, no penetration though from the visitors.

Just an additional 60 seconds to play...

    Bournemouth 0-0 West Brom

Bournemouth trying to work an opening but it's not really happening for them in the final third.

The Cherries are looking likely to be in the Premier League again next season but they could just do with a couple more points to be sure.

Tom Hobart: Outstanding call to send off Charlie Adam. TV replays show Adam was completely off the ground with both feet. Brave, but spot on.

What about the football I hear you cry. Well, Stoke have adapted relatively well to their numerical disadvantage.

Paul Lambert's side are still enjoying plenty of possession and aren't yet being opened up by Everton.

The visitors can afford to be patient though and try to pick Stoke off on the break as the match goes on.

  16. Postpublished at 15:38 Greenwich Mean Time 17 March 2018

    Huddersfield 0-1 Crystal Palace

Good spell for Huddersfield now as half-time approaches. Crystal Palace have dropped off after getting the goal.

Nathan Ake slides in to knock the ball away from Salomón Rondón's feet as West Brom come forward again. One or two appeals for a penalty from the away end but it looked to me to be an excellent challenge.

    Stoke 0-0 Everton

    Tom Heaton
Burnley and England goalkeeper on 5 live sports extra

I didn't think it was that bad. I certainly thought it was a foul. In fairness the referee is a lot closer. My initial reaction was that it was not a red card.

After seeing the replay, both legs leave the floor, so you can understand if the ref deems him to be out of control.
