    Stoke 0-0 Everton

The best way to beat the cold is to run around. A lot. Stoke are doing that, following Paul Lambert's instructions by playing at a decent tempo from the off.

Xherdan Shaqiri tries to bend one into the far corner from the right channel, followed by Kurt Zouma trying a spectacular drive from distance. Not happening from there.

    Huddersfield 0-0 Crystal Palace

Big error in defence by Mamadou Sakho as his poor clearance strikes Alex Pritchard and the ball bounces kindly for Steve Mounie. The striker is momentarily through on goal but a poor first touch gives Sakho the chance to recover.

    Stoke 0-0 Everton

Stoke, jolted by that escape, pour forward on the counter attack. Ramadan Sobhi leads the charge down the left, Everton back-pedal, the Stoke midfielder pulls back to Peter Crouch about 20 yards out.

"Shoooot!" is the cry. He does, you know. Low and straight at Jordan Pickford who gathers at the second attempt.

Hamza Darby: Think us Baggies will be joined by Stoke & Southampton. Uninspiring management, poor recruitment and poor team selections have affected us throughout the season.

    Bournemouth 0-0 West Brom

Opportunity for West Brom as they get forward quickly through Allan Nyom. He bends the ball behind the defence and towards the far post but it is just out of Salomón Rondón's reach.

    Stoke 0-0 Everton

He's got to score! Everton win a free-kick on the right, Wayne Rooney curls a delicious delivery to the previous-mentioned Tom Davies at the back stick.

Unmarked and in acres of space, the Toffees midfielder loops his header over the bar. Should have been nestling in the onion bag, no question. Big let off for Stoke.

  7. CLOSE!published at 15:07 Greenwich Mean Time 17 March 2018

    Huddersfield 0-0 Crystal Palace

    How close was that!?

Palace win a free -kick just outside the area, Luka Milivojevic bends the ball over the wall and it goes just wide of the far post.

A few Palace fans thought that was in.

    Stoke 0-0 Everton

An early injury concern for Everton. Tom Davies, with his blond hair pinned back in a hipster man-bun, goes down clutching his ankle. Didn't seem too much in the challenge, maybe it was the landing. A rub of the magic sponge and he's back on his feet.

Meanwhile... Mother Nature has snatched back the sun. Grey and snowy.

  9. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:06 Greenwich Mean Time 17 March 2018

    Huddersfield 0-0 Crystal Palace

Wilfried Zaha's shot from the edge of the area is deflected behind for another Palace corner, from which Huddersfield break and Steve Mounie shaves the top of the bar with a speculative effort.

Very intense start at the John Smith's Stadium.

  10. Postpublished at 15:05 Greenwich Mean Time 17 March 2018

    Bournemouth 0-0 West Brom

Not much happening at Bournemouth with play being contested in a packed midfield.

  11. Postpublished at 15:03 Greenwich Mean Time 17 March 2018

    Stoke 0-0 Everton

Stoke are out of the blocks like Usain Bolt. The home side pin back the visitors, Big Sam chomps harder on his gum, Charlie Adam pings a long-ranger over the Everton bar.

    Good start.

  12. Postpublished at 15:02 Greenwich Mean Time 17 March 2018

    Huddersfield 0-0 Crystal Palace

Explosive start by Crystal Palace as Andros Townsend wins a corner for the visitors. The ball is sent towards the far post, there's an almighty scramble but eventually the Terriers clear.

The 3pm kick offs are under way.

Do not adjust your TV sets while watching Match of the Day later... the white pitch markings at Stoke have been replaced by a shade of Everton blue. Looks strange!

Charlie Shanahan: West Brom, Swansea and Stoke. Palace have a great run-in and they have Zaha and Loftus-Cheek back as well. They played United, Spurs and Chelsea with half their squad on the treatment table but still did themselves proud.

    Tom Heaton
Burnley and England goalkeeper on 5 live sports extra

Peter Crouch is tough one to play against. He's got height obviously, but he's got quality with his feet. Whenever we at Burnley defend against him, it is about the second ball.

Four times out of five he wins the the header, so it is about what happens after, picking up runners and defending the maybes.

Snowing in Bournemouth, sunny in Huddersfield but expect conditions to swap over the course of the next 90 minutes.

Nervous faces in both the home and away ends at the John Smith's Stadium. This is a massive game for both sides.

    I'd go with Jordan Pickford.

I think he's had a good season and he has probably been Everton's best player. He's great with his feet and I just think he's a really top goalkeeper.
