What's not to love about Swansea boss Carlos Carvalhal?

He's taken the Swans up the table.

    He tells excellent dad jokes.

He brings in cake to work.

West Brom v Burnley (15:00 BST)

When West Brom left Burnley in August with their second league victory of the month, nobody could have anticipated that they would win just once more before the two sides met again some seven months later.

Contrast that with the visitors who, having already recorded their greatest Premier League points total, can begin to strengthen their claim as the best team outside the big six.

West Brom v Burnley (15:00 BST)

I joked earlier in the year that West Brom, no matter what their results, always seem to be in mid-table.

They failed to win in the last nine games of last season, yet they still finished 10th. It was some sort of Tony Pulis witchcraft.

It's a very different story now. The Baggies are rock bottom, with seven consecutive league losses on the bounce.

They last had a longer of run of defeats in the top-flight in 1985 - a run of nine.

But it's not all bad news, Baggies fans (I promise). West Brom have an excellent record against today's opponents.

They have won nine of their last 10 home league matches against Burnley, winning the last two 4-0.

In case you've missed the news that broke overnight, former England and Chelsea midfielder Ray Wilkins is in a critical condition in a London hospital.

St George's Hospital told BBC Sport that the 61-year-old is a patient and "his family have asked for privacy".

His wife Jackie is quoted in the Daily Mirror , externalas saying he had a cardiac arrest and the situation is "very bad".

Messages of support have been pouring in for Wilkins on social media.

If you've forgotten where we are at in the Premier League standings, here's a very brief recap.

Manchester City will move to within one victory of taking the Premier League title if they beat Everton at Goodison Park (17:30).

Meanwhile, Manchester United and Liverpool are scrapping for second place along with Tottenham, who don't play until Sunday.

At the bottom, Southampton can climb out of the relegation zone with victory at West Ham while Huddersfield can put distance between themselves and the bottom three with a win against Newcastle at St James' Park.

Burnley, Leicester and Everton are battling for seventh place - which will bring a place in the Europa League if Southampton do not win the FA Cup.
