Burton fans know of the Bolton score and the Preston fans are waving at them. They'd eased off it after getting wind of the Bolton result and thought they'd keep it simple - but now they need another. Bolton had lost six from seven before this - but as it stands, they're surviving.

Preston have scored - and wow! Burton are going to go down after all that! The Burton players are lying face down with their heads in their hands.

GOAL: Preston 2-1 Burtonpublished at 14:21 British Summer Time 6 May 2018

    Louis Moult (90+3 mins)

And now it well and truly looks like curtains for Burton.

Nigel Clough's side threw them all forward in a bid to get the winner and left themselves exposed at the back.

Louis Moult the man to take advantage for Preston on the break and break Burton hearts.

My word! This could be the biggest goal of the whole day!

Two Bolton goals in just over a minute and the one that puts them ahead comes from Aaron WIlbraham's head.

Beautiful stood up ball from Adam Le Fondre for the finish and Bolton are staying up now as it stands.

    Championship final day

Ipswich Town have taken the lead against Middlesbrough again after Shane McLoughlin was brought down inside the area and Martyn Waghorn did the business from the spot.

Ipswich are under temporary management but they've managed to push Boro down to sixth position - meaning Tony Pulis' side will face Fulham in the play-offs, with the home leg first.

Norwich City have also pulled one back against Sheffield Wednesday, Timm Klose sweeping home from inside the box.

Kenneth Zohore almost seals it for Cardiff, but his shot is cleared off the line.

I'm seeing tiredness and real fatigue in this Burton side now. They went hammer and tongs in the first half and I think that's catching up with them. It's 25 degrees here - the mind is still strong but the body is weak here.

Oh - but the Burton fans have just got word of Bolton's result! They're bare-chested and jumping around at the back of the stand singing 'We are staying up!'

Forest fans will also be enjoying the fact that their goals are keeping Nigel Clough's side up.

  18. goal

GOAL: Derby 4-1 Barnsleypublished at 14:11 British Summer Time 6 May 2018

    George Moncur (80 mins)

Moments after coming off the bench, George Moncur pulls one back for Barnsley.

But it matters little. For the Tykes to avoid the drop now, they need Burton to concede a goal at 10-man Preston.

  19. goal

GOAL: Bolton 1-2 Nottingham Forestpublished at 14:09 British Summer Time 6 May 2018

    Jack Colback (78 mins)

Looking bleak now for Bolton and pretty good for Burton.

Jack Colback puts Forest ahead after they trailed just 11 minutes ago. Bolton look to be heading through the trap door.

    Championship final day

Bristol City need one more to equalise at home to Sheffield United. Joe Bryan has given Lee Johnson's side their second of the afternoon, curling a free kick around the wall and into the top corner after Bobby Reid was fouled.

It was textbook stuff - again, though, both of these sides will wish they were fighting for a top six place today given their starts to the season.
