That was great play by Northern Ireland. Josh Magennis is being closed down and tries to chip it into the top-left corner but it's tipped over. A good start.

    Northern Ireland 1-1 South Korea

Early chance for Northern Ireland. The home side pinch possession down the right before George Saville intelligently lays the ball back to Josh Magennis inside the South Korean box. Magennis doesn't have time to think, only enough to instinctively shoot, bringing a smart save from Kim Seung-gyu.

The two managers have had their say and now it's time for the players to get back out there and put what they've said back into practice.

Northern Ireland get the second half under way.

    Sammy Clingan
Former NI midfielder on Radio Ulster

It's about trying to limit what South Korea can do. We are giving their midfield too much respect and too much time on the ball. As a midfielder, I know it's easy if you're given time rather than having someone in your face.

After the first 15 minutes I feared the worst. I thought we were going to be in for a long afternoon after their early goal. They had the majority of possession but they don't look the side they did in the first 20 minutes. If we show them less respect, we can get something out of the game.

    Northern Ireland 1-1 South Korea

BBC Sport NI's Richard Petrie at Windsor Park: "Normally clad in green, Northern Ireland are sporting unfamiliar light blue shirts and dark blue shorts - their new 'away' kit - at Windsor Park today.

"For the first 15 minutes, the home side's performance was also barely recognisable from the spirited displays the home fans have come to expect in recent years.

"But since then Michael O'Neill's side have come more into things and the game is perfectly poised as the players disappear down the tunnel for half-time."

The best part of the game were the two goals, they were both classy and well worked. As the game went on, we imposed ourselves more on it. If we can get at their back four, the game is there for the taking.

Chance! Oliver Norwood winds up a long throw that Josh Magennis flicks on with George Saville on his shoulder. The Millwall man can't reach it though as South Korea escape. And that should be that.

Jamal Lewis has got a proper sweat on down that left side. Unsurprising as he is playing on the side with the sun beating down. He might need to slap on some sunscreen at the break.

The Norwich left-back has been caught out a couple of times with diagonal balls over the top, but otherwise has looked pretty composed.

If Lee Yong's nickname isn't the South Korean Cafu then it should be. He loves bombing on. Lee is picked out by Ki Sung-yeung's quarterback-like pass, but Trevor Carson is alert to the danger and comes out to grab the ball before his opponent.

    Northern Ireland 1-1 South Korea

Deliveries into the South Korea box have been Northern Ireland's best route to success. And they have another chance here for some aerial bombardment. A free-kick on the left is lumped into the area, but the away defence manage to clear.

I don't like this Northern Ireland shirt. It's too washed out. It doesn't do anything for me.

Here's that enforced South Korea change. Kim Min-woo is the man chosen to replace Kim Jin-su.

    Northern Ireland 1-1 South Korea

Can Northern Ireland take advantage of their momentary numerical advantage? Almost. Jamie Ward floats in a cross from the right, the part of the pitch which is buried in the shade, as Josh Magennis makes a nuisance of himself in the box. He wins the header but it lacks power and the keeper gathers.
