Brighton boss Chris Hughton, speaking to MOTD: "It was a game where we were not at our best. Huddersfield scored from our mistake and we had the two best chances of the game. It wasn't our day today.

"I thought we had started very well. Their goal gave Huddersfield the lift they needed."

On the sending off: "It is down to a referee on the day whether they want to send a player off for that challenge. You will see numerous challenges like that where there are two competitive players. At the time, I thought it was harsh."

  3. 'Not good enough'published at 17:47 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

    Leicester 1-2 Newcastle

    Leicester City

Leicester boss Claude Puel, speaking to BBC Sport: "It was not enough today. We wasted a fantastic opportunity for this team to believe in themselves. It was not enough in the first half, it was better in the second half with our reaction, but it's a shame. We will discuss together.

"We know when we play sometimes like today against a team with a strong defensive unit, we have to play quickly and with quality, it was too slow. We believe in ourselves to come back with a good mentality, hard work in training and prepare for our next game with a good feeling."

    On Riyad Mahrez's penalty appeal:

"Yeah, he [Paul Dummett] touched his foot, for me it is a penalty. The problem is this."

  4. 'We needed to be ruthless'published at 17:42 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

    Watford 1-2 Burnley

    Watford

Watford midfielder Will Hughes speaking to Sky Sports:

"Massive frustration, similar to last week. Long ball up top, couldn’t deal with it, something we worked on in training all week.

"They’re a good team in the air with lots of big lads and we didn’t deal with it.

"They put a lot of balls and we dealt with it in the first half, one lapse of concentration cost us

"We wanted to push on for the second, and it could’ve killed the game off, but we could have been more ruthless."

  5. 'Mixed emotions'published at 17:40 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

    Brighton 1-1 Huddersfield

    Brighton & Hove Albion

Brighton boss Chris Hughton, speaking to Sky Sports: "It was a hard-earned point in the end because we were down to 10 men but it was also a missed opportunity. Mixed emotions.

"These things are going to happen. Shane Duffy has had a wonderful season for us. There was enough time in the game to go on and win it after that.

"We are in a position now where there is a bit more pressure and what the players have to do is rise for the challenge and they have been used to that this season."

  6. A 'blood and guts' performancepublished at 17:39 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

    Watford 1-2 Burnley

    Sean DycheImage source, Getty Images

Burnley manager Sean Dyche speaking to Sky Sports:

On Vokes' goal from the bench: "Well it is something you can't define. I didn’t think it would come that quickly of course, but a good finish. The players had a good mentality, they got us through.

"We're not going to slick it around every week, we played well at West Brom and West Ham, but a different way to win, blood and guts and working hard."

On Jack Cork: "He’s a humble lad, fantastic professional. there's a humble edge to what we do. They’re willing to find a way to work and be diligent."

On European ambitions: "There’s a lot of games to go a lot of football to be played but the lads have put themselves in a good position to be thinking that.

"The reward for the lads is going into the final few games of the season, knowing the first marker has been achieved, now they all enjoy their football.

"We know we didn't play well, but found a way. Think we had a scratch of luck, doing the ugly stuff, all that is important."

  7. 'I thought the players were first class'published at 17:35 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

    West Brom 1-1 Swansea

    West Bromwich Albion

    Darren MooreImage source, Getty Images

    West Brom caretaker-manager Darren Moore:

Pleased with the result? - "I'm always one for if you don't win the game, you don't lose the game but I'm really pleased they showed character to stay in it, dig in and work well with each other."

Did the players respond to your instructions? - "I've had three days to work with them and I thought the players were first class. They did what I asked them to do and we almost came away with a good three points. I'm really delighted even though we couldnt hang on for the win."

Disappointed to concede from a set piece? - "It was a great delivery and Tammy got his head on it. You're always disappointed to concede from a set play but I'm happy we gave a good fight to stop the rot and get a point in the bag."

How will you ease the club's relegation fears? - "One game at a time. We've come through this one with an overall team performance against a well organised Swansea team that carries a threat. The way we played today was very good."

  8. 'It could have been a defeat or a win'published at 17:32 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

    Brighton 1-1 Huddersfield

Huddersfield boss David Wagner, speaking to MOTD: "An away point in the Premier League is a good point. It was a good performance from my side, it could have been a defeat or a win.

"The whole team showed great character today to come back in the circumstances, at this stage of the season, to come back when you are 1-0 down is good. I am absolutely happy with the performance.

"Home advantage - and it is an advantage for us - is big. No game in the Premier League is easy. The season is not over before the last three games. The players have done fantastic so far this season. We have the points we have, we have the performance we had today which was very good and this makes me proud.

"We fought until the final second. Both teams really wanted to win the game, that is what we have seen.

"Last season was a fairytale and what the players have to do this season is the next level. It will be a miracle, we compete against multimillionaires and my players always give their best and so far they have done a decent job.

"I am still confident that more or less over the whole season we are capable of the chance to survive."

    Stoke City

    Paul LambertImage source, PA

Stoke boss Paul Lambert to BBC Sport: "Two weeks in a row we come away with nothing.

"The effort and commitment I can not ask more of, we are just not getting the breaks.

"If lads played like that at begining of season we would not be in positiobn we are in.

"I think we have to win at least three games now, as long as belief and fight there, we are in with a fighting chance."

  11. 'We needed to kill the game off'published at 17:24 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

    Watford 1-2 Burnley

    Watford

Watford manager Javi Gracia speaking to Sky Sports:

"I think we dominated for most of the game, had more possession, more shots on target, 10 corners to one, but it wasn't enough, we should have killed the game and we didn't.

"They didn't surprise us, we knew their style of play, we lost in a similar way in the last game with two set pieces, OK we are not happy today we'll try to do better next time.

"I thought we were ready to defend this and improve in those situations, today we conceded two goals from two free kicks, we need to improve.

"They score two goals in three minutes, we tried to work on this we are conceding the last two games many goals this way, and we are losing points."

  12. 'If we play like that we will win games'published at 17:22 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

    Stoke 1-2 Tottenham

Stoke boss Paul Lambert to Sky: "I thought we were brilliant against Arsenal, but better today.

"I am pretty sure that was not an easy game for them.

"Our decision making let us down, but the effort and commitment was great, the reception the team got after the game, it felt like we had won the game."

On Diouf's miss: "We were four on two, but it is down to decision making. I won't single anyone out, they were fantastic.

"If we keep playing like that we will win games."

  13. 'We are full of confidence'published at 17:21 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino to Sky Sports: "It was tough. We were better but suffered a lot and had to fight for the three points.

"It was a professional performance, not fantastic like against Chelsea, but I am so happy. In the race to finish in the top four, we now have the same points as Liverpool.

"The squad is full of confidence, all ready to compete and help the team."

  14. Carvalhal praises 'fantastic reaction'published at 17:18 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

    West Brom 1-1 Swansea

    Swansea City

Swans boss Carlos Carvalhal: "I am pleased. After the game, we didn't talk too much about it but we knew West Brom would still be a difficult game even though they changed the manager.

"We must do better in the first half when we have the ball but after the goal, we react and have a lot of strength in our head. The team did a fantastic reaction. We didn't give many opportunities to them in return to create chances.

"We aim to collect points with a good number and this is one more. We wanted more but luckily for us, we had time to react and collect one point."

On Tammy Abraham scoring the equaliser: "Tammy's learning. He's a young boy. Today, the game is not easy to him but when the player is in an environment around him where the performance is not the best, it is difficult but he did well to score the goal for us."

  15. 'Second is better than third'published at 17:17 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

    Stoke 1-2 Tottenham

    Tottenham Hotspur

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino to BBC: "It was a very good performance, very solid. I told them it would be tough as they are playing to survive.

"In the second-half we were more clinical but we are disappointed we conceded so quickly after scoring. The team kept pushing with the right mentality, to fight for every ball. It has put us in a very good position in the table.

"Our target is to finish in the top four, possibly second, which is better than third or fourth."

  16. 'Amazing performance, amazing fans'published at 17:12 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

    Leicester 1-2 Newcastle

    Newcastle United

Newcastle manager Rafael Benitez, speaking to BBC Sport: "It was amazing, the effort of the players, the way they were working, creating chances and the connection with the fans, who were amazing too. Sometimes when you play a good team you are under pressure but still they were doing well, it was a professional performance.

"Leicester are always dangerous, they have the players who can hurt you, but we had three or four counter attacks where we could have done better. You cannot complain."

    Are you safe?

"Not yet, still we are closer but we have to carry on. Nearly, but we have to carry on."

Should Harry Maguire have been sent off?

"I have had players sent off just for touching the face of a player. I cannot argue too much. And the main thing for us was the performance of the team, we deserved to win."

  17. It's Eriksen's goalpublished at 17:12 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

    Jack CorkImage source, Getty Images

    Burnley midfielder Jack Cork:

On the performance: "There were times they were on top of us but we never got worried. We’ve been in that position a couple times this season but the lads keep working, keep fighting. We believe we’re always going to get something from the game."

On Sam Vokes's goal: "Amazing goal. He’s a great player and a great sub from the gaffer. He is unlucky not to be in the team but showed his quality today."

On his goal: "I still didn’t know until you just told me. The keeper saved it and Ashley Barnes tried one of this overhead kicks. I wasn’t sure, but a few of the lads jumped on me."

On Burnley's form: "We’ve got that momentum and winning mentality. We had a tough patch in the middle of the season, but played through that, four wins on the bounce, we just need to keep pushing until the end of the season."

On European ambitions: "We would like to have an eye on that, it's a shame to waste the good position we are in, it would be good end to a great season. A lot of the lads haven’t played in Europe so it will be a great experience, great for the fans especially."
