  1. Postpublished at 15:36 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

    Leicester 0-1 Newcastle

I'm a big fan of this lad, Fousseni Diabate with a delicious piece of skill to turn away from his defender but he rather drags his shot wide from the edge of the area. Great stuff from the Leicester forward though.

  2. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:35 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

    Watford 0-0 Burnley

Here come Watford again though and Roberto Pereyra driving towards goal. He turns onto his left, unleashes a shot on goal and Nick Pope does really well to tip over the bar. Another impressive stop. England's number one?

  3. Postpublished at 15:33 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

    Watford 0-0 Burnley

The game's gone off the boil a bit after an entertaining period that saw both sides create - and fail to take - decent chances. Now Etienne Capoue drags a pretty poor shot wide of the post when he ought to have done much better from space on the edge of the box.

  4. 'Lossl's positioning is all wrong'published at 15:33 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

    Brighton 1-0 Huddersfield

    Leon Osman
Former Everton midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

That is a shot you would expect Jonas Lossl to save. He has been done at his near post at full stretch, it's bounced off the post, on to his shoulder and in.

His position is all wrong to concede a goal like that from so far out.

  5. goal

GOAL - Brighton 1-1 Huddersfieldpublished at 15:32 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

    Steve Mounie (33 mins)

    A shocker!

You wouldn't have thought that you could miss Huddersfield's away kit today. it's as garish as it gets. But Shane Duffy must not see Steve Mounie as the Brighton defender turns and plays a backpass straight to the striker!

A horrible error. But Mounie does really well to finish, skipping around the keeper and steering in from a tight angle.

  6. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:32 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

    Stoke 0-0 Tottenham

Lovely from Dele Alli to slip in Serge Aurier on the overlap, his shot is blocked and Alli is whacked in the build-up. Alli needs some magic sponge loving, Erik Pieters is booked but Alli is going to be OK.

  7. goal

GOAL - Brighton 1-0 Huddersfieldpublished at 15:29 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

    Jonas Lossl (OG 29 mins)

That's tight on Terriers keeper Jonas Lossl! Solly March is able to get a shot away from the edge of the box, the keeper gets a good hand on it to push it against the base of the post, the ball then hits him on the back of the head and squeaks over the line before he can claw it away.

Before the days of technology he may have gotten away with that. It's a scrappy opener but Brighton won't care.

  8. Postpublished at 15:29 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

    Stoke 0-0 Tottenham

We've seen next to nothing from Harry Kane in the opening half hour. If that doesn't cue a goal, nothing will...

  9. Postpublished at 15:27 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

    Brighton 0-0 Huddersfield

Chances remain at a premium across the Premier League. A goal for Huddersfield would be massive.

  10. Postpublished at 15:27 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

    Bournemouth 0-0 Crystal Palace

Chance for Palace after good work on the left by the fit-again Ruben Loftus-Cheek, he picks out James McArthur, but his shot from 16 yards is well blocked by a defender.

  11. Postpublished at 15:26 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

    Leicester 0-1 Newcastle

I think Jonjo may have missed his chance to get on that plane. Chris Waddle wants him in, mind. Today's strike was his first in the top flight for Newcastle.

    Shuvam: Shelvey to Russia!

Felix: Shelvey would add creativity and could be a key part of England's World Cup Campaign.

  13. Postpublished at 15:25 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

    Watford 0-0 Burnley

Two big chances go begging for Burnley. First Ashley Barnes fails to connect with a low cross from the right, when he was well positioned inside the box.

And then Ashley Westwood strikes the bobbling rebound straight into a lunging pair of Watford legs.

  14. Postpublished at 15:24 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

    Bournemouth 0-0 Crystal Palace

A slow burner on the south coast. Wilfried Zaha is playing a Eden Hazard style 'false nine' role up front and Palace haven't created much at all yet.

Still, as it stands the Eagles are three points clear of the drop zone.

  15. 'Touch of class from Shelvey'published at 15:23 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

    Leicester 0-1 Newcastle

    Leon Osman
Former Everton midfielder on Final Score

I think Kasper Schmeichel will be a bit cross with his defenders, the shot from Jonjo Shelvey takes a nick off Ben Chilwell as it goes in.

Shelvey shows a touch of class, looks like he is going to strike it with his laces, chops the ball, takes out two Leicester City defenders and gives himself all the time in the world to place it in the corner.

  16. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:23 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

    Stoke 0-0 Tottenham

Danny Rose is getting plenty of grief from the Stoke fans, who are in fine voice today. Spurs can't get much going - hang on!

All of a sudden Dele Alli finds Son in behind the defence, he's clean through and should score but Jack Butland makes a very good save indeed!

  17. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:21 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

    Leicester 0-1 Newcastle

That goal has put Newcastle 10th in the table as it stands. Every goal is crazy down there.

Harry Maguire then hands off Dwight Gayle, an arm to the face, and the England man might be in a bit of bother here...

    It's a yellow card.

  18. goal

GOAL - Leicester 0-1 Newcastlepublished at 15:18 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

    Jonjo Shelvey (18 mins)

A big goal down at the bottom and that's a great time to score your first Premier League goal of the season! Ayoze Perez has the ball on the left and finds Jonjo Shelvey in the D. He sells a dummy to one man by roling his foot over the ball, it looks like he's going to blast it but instead he side-foots in a shot. It hits Ben Chilwell on the arm but it doesn't matter as the ball ends up in the back of the net anyway!

  19. Postpublished at 15:16 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

    Leicester 0-0 Newcastle

Big Wes Morgan is up for a set-piece and the Leicester captain goes close, he can't ge enough purchase on his header though and it slides away from goal.

    Still we await a goal...

  20. Postpublished at 15:15 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

    Watford 0-0 Burnley

That's a good stop low down from Nick Pope as Roberto Pereyra strikes on goal at the end of a flowing Watford move, midfielder Will Hughes with a lovely turn and pass out to the Argentine in the build-up.
