    Italian Serie A

Drama in Serie A as Napoli scored two late goals to keep themselves in the title race.

They are four points behind Juventus, but still have to play a game against the champions.

Mariusz Stepinski had put Chievo on their way to victory but Arkadiusz Milik scored an 89th-minute equaliser before Amadou Diawara's injury-time winner.

Folj: Atletico Madrid are just the La Liga version of Man United, parking buses against big teams and making game boring.

  4. HALF-TIMEpublished at 16:00 British Summer Time 8 April 2018

    Real Madrid 0-0 Atletico Madrid

The referee doesn't even give Atletico time to take the free-kick. It's goalless at the break.

  5. Postpublished at 45 mins

    Real Madrid 0-0 Atletico Madrid

Koke gives Dani Carvajal a little nutmeg and then gets brought down by the Real Madrid right-back.

Atletico will be happy to get into the break level.

  6. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 42 mins

    Real Madrid 0-0 Atletico Madrid

Real Madrid have their best chance yet. Marcelo crashes the ball off the angle of post and bar from just outside the box and fellow full-back Dani Carvajal forces a good save from Jan Oblak from the rebound.

  7. Postpublished at 42 mins

    Real Madrid 0-0 Atletico Madrid

Atletico Madrid are furious, understandably so, as Vitolo is flagged offside. Even though he was in his own half when Thomas Partey played the ball.

  8. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 38 mins

    Real Madrid 0-0 Atletico Madrid

Another penalty appeal as Lucas Vazquez leaps over a Lucas Hernandez tackle in the box, but the referee says no again. Maybe if he'd stood his ground and taken the hit, he'd have had his penalty.

  9. YELLOW CARDpublished at 34 mins

    Real Madrid 0-0 Atletico Madrid

Saul fires one over from distance for Atletico.

And now his team-mate Thomas Partey is booked for a mistimed sliding tackle.

  10. Postpublished at 32 mins

    Real Madrid 0-0 Atletico Madrid

Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa wants a free-kick after a tangle of legs with Dani Carvajal. He doesn't get it so screams into the referee's face. Lucky to avoid a booking.

  11. Postpublished at 30 mins

    Real Madrid 0-0 Atletico Madrid

Atletico Madrid should probably be 1-0 up. Diego Costa beats the offside trap from a flick and he's in on goal. He tries to beat Keylor Navas at his near post and the Real keeper produces a good save to keep it out.

    That's only Atletico's second shot.

  12. Postpublished at 28 mins

    Real Madrid 0-0 Atletico Madrid

Gareth Bale plays a free-kick into the box which Raphael Varane takes down with his head and then forces a save from Jan Oblak. Cristiano Ronaldo keeps the ball in play but Real can't do anything with it.

  13. Postpublished at 26 mins

    Real Madrid 0-0 Atletico Madrid

It's getting a bit fouly at the moment, lots of players being wiped out by tackles.

  14. Postpublished at 22 mins

    Real Madrid 0-0 Atletico Madrid

Juanfran plays a cross into the box which Vitolo steps over. It runs to Koke, who loses his footing at the worst possible time and Keylor Navas can gather for Real.

  15. Postpublished at 21 mins

    Real Madrid 0-0 Atletico Madrid

A waste from Marco Asensio as he is picked out in space in the box. He could shoot but instead tries to lift a cross to the back post - which nobody can get onto.

  16. Postpublished at 20 mins

    Real Madrid 0-0 Atletico Madrid

This game has really come to life as Cristiano Ronaldo forces a good diving save from Jan Oblak. Ronaldo doesn't score too many 25-yard goals these days.

  17. Postpublished at 19 mins

    Real Madrid 0-0 Atletico Madrid

Lucky escape for Real as Sergio Ramos dawdles and Diego Costa takes the ball off him - fouling him in the process. But Costa could have taken that ball without fouling him.

  18. YELLOW CARDpublished at 17 mins

    Real Madrid 0-0 Atletico Madrid

We have our second yellow card as Atletico winger Vitolo pulls Marco Asensio down.

John McEnerney: Atletico Madrid are just like Diego Simeone when he played - passionate, hardworking and a tad dirty. If Real were like Zinedine Zidane when he played, they wouldn’t be 16 points behind Barcelona, that’s for sure. This should be a belter with plenty of cards and a few goals.

  20. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15 mins

    Real Madrid 0-0 Atletico Madrid

Atletico striker Antoine Griezmann has space ahead of him to run into - so Toni Kroos slides in to take him out of the equation.

Diego Simeone is going crazy on the sidelines calling for a yellow card - and the referee agrees, so Kroos is the first player in the book today.
