The players are just re-emerging at The Den.

The floodlights are taking full force with the sun now having gone in, but it's still a beautiful evening in London.

All we need now is a goal or several.

Should England take Sessegnon to the World Cup?

Darrell Kerrison: Maddison has had just as a good a season as Sessegnon but in a much worse Norwich side but no mention of him going to the world cup. As usual you have to play for the right club to get noticed

Tony Rodi: Sessegnon to the World Cup? It would be a waste of a place.

Ben Nicholson: I’d be monumentally proud of Sess if he went to the World Cup but I’m not sure what the positives are if he does. He’ll be missing a summer break after a long season and is highly unlikely to get anywhere near the pitch. Rest him up for #FFC, external in the prem, I say

Unless you've been buried under a rock all day, I'm sure you'll have heard by now that Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger announced that he'll be leaving the club at the end of the season.

Former Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has been leading the tributes, which you can tuck into by clicking the link below...

Right then, anything much happen in the world of football today, anyone know?...

  6. HALF-TIMEpublished at 45+3 mins

    Millwall 0-0 Fulham

And that's our lot. What a lot it's been, too, even if it does remain goalless.

Both teams have hit the bar - Millwall through Jake Cooper's header and Fulham via Matt Targett's long-ranger a few moments ago - but it's the hosts who should most certainly be in front at the break.

  7. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 45+2 mins

    Millwall 0-0 Fulham

So very, very nearly the sucker punch!

Tom Cairney has the ball around 30 yards from goal and, having pondered over hitting one towards goal himself, tees up Fulham team-mate Matt Targett for an effort from similar range - and his rasping, dipping left-footed effort clips the top of the bar.

    Unlucky.

We'll have two minutes of time added on at the end of a first half that you can't imagine Millwall manager Neil Harris will want to end.

Millwall really can't afford to keep passing up these opportunities, can they?

After a long ball over the top sets Lee Gregory free, it's eventually worked wide and then chucked into forward Steve Morison once more - but his header under pressure from the goalkeeper goes miles over.

And, short of popping it in the onion bag, Millwall are doing some really excellent work in attack.

Ben Marshall's far-post cross picks out Steve Morison, but Marcus Bettinelli rushes out to punch the ball away.

That we're 39 minutes in and Fulham, chasing second spot tonight, still haven't had a shot on target tells its own story.

We're now up to a whopping 70% possession for the Cottagers - but it's all about what you do with it!

  12. Postpublished at 36 mins

    Millwall 0-0 Fulham

I repeat - you're really going to have to take one of these chances, John, because another one has just gone begging!

Steve Morison finds himself in acres in the Fulham penalty area, and with strike partner Lee Gregory for company in the middle too, but his cross is horribly over-hit and drifts away for a throw-in.

    Another genuine opportunity missed.

John B: come on you Lions! So proud of you. After 50 years supporting you, you are finally on the cusp of premier football. Win tonight!!!!

You're going to need to take one of these chances you're carving out, mind you John...

Everything good for Fulham is coming down their left-hand side, which is no real surprise given that's Ryan Sessegnon's department - but actually it's Matt Targett who is providing the biggest threat thus far.

Again he gets clear on the overlap, but his grass-cutting cross is just about dealt with by three Milwlall defenders.

A penny for the thoughts of Whites boss Slavisa Jokanovic?

  15. OFF THE LINEpublished at 28 mins

    Millwall 0-0 Fulham

But Millwall are still carving out the better of the chances - and here's another one.

Fulham goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli comes racing out of his goal to beat Steve Morison to a cross into the area, but his touch down is straight to the feet of Jed Wallace, whose subsequent attempt is hacked off the line by Tim Ream.

  16. Postpublished at 26 mins

    Millwall 0-0 Fulham

Having pressed so high in the opening 20 minutes, Millwall are just beginning to drop deep as Fulham continue to stroke the ball from one side to another.

Matt Targett captilises on a slip in the Lions defence, but drags his shot harmlessly wide.

  17. Postpublished at 23 mins

    Millwall 0-0 Fulham

As we reach the midway point of the first half, the game continues in its familiar pattern - Fulham dominating the ball but never looking overly threatening, while Millwall break with pace and purpose every time they win it back.

As I say that, Fulham do manage to work Ryan Sessegnon clear down the left but his low cross is dealt with by Jordan Archer.

That's more like it from the Cottagers.

It looks like former Wolves midfielder George Saville is alright to continue, which is good news for Millwall boss Neil Harris.

Soon after, Fulham make a rare foray deep into Lions territory as Matt Targett's cross picks out Aleksandar Mitrovic, who can't keep his header down.

  20. Postpublished at 18 mins

    So close again, Millwall!

A long ball is pumped into the Fulham area and, from Jake Cooper's headed knock-down, Lee Gregory throws himself at the ball but just can't quite make contact.

It brings about a rare stoppage in play, as George Saville is down and receiving some treatment.
