  1. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 15 mins

    Millwall 0-0 Fulham

... Millwall do have the ball in the net - but it's disallowed!

George Saville is the man to turn it in from close range, but referee Andre Marriner had clearly blown his whistle for another foul by Jed Wallace before Saville had even connected with the ball.

It's fast, it's furious and it's everything you'd want from a local derby.

  2. Postpublished at 14 mins

The visitors, as you'd expect, are bossing the ball and have enjoyed 69% possession in the opening 14 minutes.

Yet it's Millwall who look by far the more likely to score, make no mistake about that.

And right on cue, in fact...

  3. Postpublished at 11 mins

    Millwall 0-0 Fulham

It's noticeable that Fulham, who would go second with a point tonight, are already trying to slow the game down a touch by taking their time over a series of throw-ins.

Soon enough, Millwall win the ball back and earn a free-kick around 40 yards from the visiting goal - which is floated straight out of play.

Don't forget, these are very much the two form sides in the Championship - the Lions are 17 league games unbeaten, while Fulham are undefeated in 21 Championship matches.

  4. Postpublished at 9 mins

    Millwall 0-0 Fulham

    Aleksandar MitrovicImage source, Rex Features

Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic, so impressive since his January arrival on loan, has already taken a few knocks here - the latest a poor challenge from Jed Wallace on the away side's left flank.

It's been a breathless first nine minutes at a Den that remains bathed in beautiful sunshine.

  5. Postpublished at 6 mins

    Millwall 0-0 Fulham

We're just seeing a replay of that early chance and every time you see it the save from Marcus Bettinelli looks more impressive.

Although the header is straight above him, he still does brilliantly to divert it onto the woodwork.

  6. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 4 mins

    Millwall 0-0 Fulham

My word - and the Lions should be ahead!

Jake Cooper peels away at the far post and, completely unmarked, sends a powerful header towards goal.

He must surely score, but goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli gets the finest of touches on it to turn it onto the bar. What a start.

  7. Postpublished at 3 mins

    Millwall 0-0 Fulham

It's not long before they're on the charge, the home side, as Jed Wallace gets clear down the right and wins the first corner of the evening...

  8. Postpublished at 2 mins

    Millwall 0-0 Fulham

There's no goal inside the first minute tonight, but Millwall's start is everything you'd expect it to be - fast, full of energy and tenacious.

Too tenacious on that occasion, as it happens, as veteran front man Steve Morison concedes an early free-kick.

  9. KICK-OFFpublished at 1 min

    Millwall 0-0 Fulham

Fulham, in their familiar white and black, get us under way.

Millwall scored in the opening 60 seconds of games three times during the month of March - they'll have to win the ball sharpish if they're to do the same here.

    Neil wasn't wrong, was he?

The noise is truly deafening as these two London rivals - and Championship promotion rivals, let's not forget - stroll onto the turf at The Den.

At a sweltering 24 degrees centigrade, it's the perfect evening for a kick-about. Kick-off is just a few moments away.

In the build-up to tonight's game, Millwall manager Neil Harris told BBC Radio London:

"The atmosphere will be electric and I can't want to see my players perform in that scenario; a cauldron of noise with so much at stake for both clubs.

"I'm extremely proud of what the players have done so far but when you have got three games to go it is one last big effort. Can we get enough points to get over the line and try and have a play-off campaign?

"Fulham are under pressure because they should be very close to that top two, if not in it.

"We have no expectation levels on us which means we can go and play with freedom, go and express ourselves and try and impose ourselves on the game."

  12. Fulham 'will wait for a Cardiff mistake'published at 19:40 British Summer Time 20 April 2018

    Millwall v Fulham (19:45 BST)

With his side able to move in to the top two tonight, Fulham boss Slavisa Jokanovic said:

"I am not thinking about being second. The situation is in Cardiff's control and we will try and wait for some kind of mistake from them.

"It is an opportunity to fight for points. We believe we will be competitive.

"Millwall supporters will support Millwall. I don't know what they can do differently.

"If somebody jumps from the stands and scores a goal I will be worried, but I believe it is not possible."

  13. Both teams on fire since Christmaspublished at 19:38 British Summer Time 20 April 2018

It's safe to say these two sides have been the two form sides in the Championship since the turn of the year.

Millwall haven't lost in their past 17 league games, winning 11 of those.

Visitors Fulham are unbeaten in 21 league matches, winning 16 of them.

Has something got to give tonight?

  15. League Two ups and downspublished at 19:33 British Summer Time 20 April 2018

With Accrington already up, second-placed Luton will join them tomorrow if they beat Carlisle or if fourth-placed Exeter lose to Crawley.

Luton would also be up if both they and Exeter draw, as the Hatters simply need to match or better the Grecians' result this weekend.

At the other end, Barnet and Chesterfield, who currently occupy the relegation places, could both be relegated this weekend if results go against them.

Leaders Wigan will be promoted if they beat Fleetwood on Saturday and third-placed Shrewsbury fail to beat lowly Bury.

Bury are already down, after losing at Northampton last weekend, but mathematically speaking, while Cobblers could be left needing a near miracle to survive if they lose tomorrow, none of the sides in danger can be relegated from League One this weekend.

While no one can mathematically join promoted Wolves this weekend, at the other end, in theory two teams could be relegated.

Burton and Sunderland, who occupy the bottom two spots and meet at the Stadium of Light tomorrow, are both in serious danger.

The loser of that game will be relegated if other results go against them - with eyes on Barnsley, Birmingham and Bolton's matches - while if Sunderland and Burton draw, they would both be relegated if Bolton and Birmingham both win.

So, looking ahead to this weekend, who can seal promotion and who is staring at relegation?

Let's run through what could be settled by 17:00 BST on Saturday...

Should England take Sessegnon to the World Cup?

Vincent Leyenda: Sessegnon should go if not just for the experience. The boy is special and can only get better, what have we got to lose taking him to Russia? Imagine the confidence it will give him.

  20. Sessegnon proud of EFL recognitionpublished at 19:25 British Summer Time 20 April 2018

After cleaning up at last Sunday's EFL awards, Ryan Sessegnon told BBC Sport he would have been "happy with just one award".
