Ada Hederberg has just attempted an audacious 40-yard effort that sails into the hands of visiting keeper Karen Bardsley.

It's quietened down somewhat in this second half. Neither side have got much of a foothold on this game since the break.

Tell that to the Lyon fans, however. They are in fine voice this afternoon.

This chap will be pretty darn pleased with how this first half has gone.

Lyon Feminines coach Reynald Pedros will have seen a dominant first half from his side. They've controlled much of the opening stages.

Meanwhile, Jen Beattie blocks yet another Lyon attack. It's been a long afternoon for the visitors.

Lucy Bronze goes on a jinking run through the Manchester City box and the former City midfielder almost doubles her tally for the afternoon, but the visitors defend at the last minute once more.

Wendie Renard almost doubles Lyon's lead with a close-range strike from a corner, but City manage to deal with the threat.

City have had had just one effort on goal. The hosts are doing a good job of pegging them back.
