    This is Watford's third season back in the top flight and the third campaign in which they have got more wins in the first half of the season than the second.

    In that time, they have also had four managers and it would be no surprise if Javi Gracia left this summer.

    The lack of continuity doesn't seem to bother them, but a slow start next term and they might be in trouble.

    The Brazilian is in the process of completing a second season on loan in Spain, this one with Valencia, who have already qualified for next year's Champions League.

    His exit was confirmed last night, so it is the last time he will sit in the home dug-out.
