Let's stop wondering about that remarkable escape, shall we?

Swansea have about five minutes and some change left in the Premier League.

There's singing, from the Stoke end I think. Sam Clucas and Leon Britton both have shots at goal, but, as has been the case all afternoon, blue shirts fall on the grenades.

About 10 minutes for Swansea to score the 10 goals that would save their Premier League status.

And for Manchester City to get a goal at Southampton.

I think it could happen.

And again! Super save by Jack Butland, then off the line by Kurt Zouma. Sam Clucas was in there, as was Tammy Abraham. Swansea have had enough chances in this second half to score the 10 goals they needed.

Swansea are absolutely battering Stoke now. The Potters make a chance - Stephen Ireland on for impressive debutant Lasse Sorensen.

Andre Ayew has to score, only six yards out and with Jack Butland on the floor. Blue shirts are thrown in front of the ball, yet it is block by Tammy Abraham. In the next attack, Abraham almost pokes the ball through the legs of Jack Butland, who pounces just before it crosses the line.

Swansea are having all of the play, pressing, playing all of the match in the Stoke half. The Potters, though, have formed a blue wall.

Nathan Dyer off, Sam Clucas on. Swansea going through the motions in what is slowly being confirmed as their final afternoon in the top flight for the time being.

Leon Britton, playing his last match as pro, is on. He replaces Andy King to a great ovation. Tammy Abraham has replaced Wayne Routledge too.

Peter Crouch deservedly goes in the book after a raised-foot challenge on Jordan Ayew. When Crouch lifts his leg, those studs get pretty high.

Good save, poor penalty.

Lukasz Fabianski, who Fantasy football managers will tell you has been excellent all season, gets low to his right to save Xherdan Shaqiri's weak spot-kick.

Of relevance is that it is still goalless between Southampton and Man City. If it stays like that, it doesn't matter that Swansea are losing.
